"If you were truly listening in then you'd know that I honestly didn't know that night, I still don't know. I kmow I screwed up by not telling you I told him to come over but... I'm sorry... nothing I say is right and you should be mad at me."

"Mad at you?" He asked. "I'm beyond pissed." He told her.

"Fine. You should be. I fucked up."

He looked at her. "And for the record, thanks for making it out like we control you." He told her. "When in real life, you told us that something terrible had happened so we were trying to look out for you." He then looked towards Dean's car. "And it was nice being a dad for a mall amount of time." He turned to join Kol at the doors to the hospital.

Brooke shook her head and walked away.

He followed Kol.

She checked the back seat of the car making sure her daughter was alright before getting in.

Dean looked at her. "You okay?"

"I don't know... he's pissed at me and I understand why, honest I do but... i just don't know..."

"Sure you don't wanna talk about it?"

She looked at him. "I don't know to say... all of it... everything is my fault..."

"Talk to me, tell me everything, what did he say?"

She slumped back in the seat and told him everything.

He listened as he drove.

"He hates me... he could've went to prison and it would've been my fault an-... gosh I'm so stupid..."

He looked over to her. "It' nice to know that I could have died." He told her.

"I know you could've and I'm sorry for that too.. I- ...." she looked down at her lap.

"It's not your fault, Peter has always been unhinged."

"It is my fault... I led him... all of them to believe that you hurt me and deserved whatever they did to you... " she whispered wiping her cheek with the back of her hand.

"If Peter can truly read your mind, why didn't he see that it wasn't true?" He asked as he drove. "I mean, he claims to be this all powerful, god-like man and yet he can't even tell whether the one he 'loves' is under a false pretense?" He asked. "Doesn't seem that great to me, and seems that he shares some of the blame."

"I'm able to block him out when I want to... I may have done that unknowingly to that night because I was afraid of what he would see..."

"But still, he's still this 'all power' guy, it just seems a bit off to me."

"He's not all powerful.. we all have things we can do. Some of us are stronger than others..."
