He laughed. "I know I'm just teasing. I'm guessing Chels hasn't been doing that for him?"

"I doubt it, the two are hardly in the same room together."

He frowned a bit. "How's he taking it?" He was curious as he moved around the kitchen to set up the table for dinner.

"Not very well, when he didn't have Maxx, Chelsea was his eyes." She told him, helping him to set the table. "He knows he hurt her feelings, but he did not realise that it would affect her this much."

"I think it's just going to take some time, I don't think any of us realized she would handle it this way...has he tried speaking to her about it again?"

"As far as I know, that did not go well."

"Has he tried since then?"

"They are hardly in the same room together."

Koen frowned deeply. "I knew she cared for him a lot but I didn't think it was this bad..." he shook his head a little bit. "Let's get them down here for dinner."

She nodded. "Good idea, some food might bring them together." She sighed. "This is getting harder."

He nodded walking over to the stairs and calling up to the teens, "Arthur, Chelsea, dinner!"

Hermione leant against the table, she was starting to feel some pain from her wound, but she wasn't going to let it spoil her time with her niece and nephew.

Koen returned to the kitchen to pull out a chair for Hermione. "Take a seat. I can handle serving everyone."

Chelsea quietly made her way downstairs and slipped into one of the seats.

Arthur made it after a few walks into the walls, but he took a seat, hi puppy sitting by his feet.

Hermione nodded, kissing his cheek, taking the seat that he pulled out for her.

Koen frowned deeply when he noticed Arthur bump into one of the walls and he walked over to help guide him the best he could. "It's okay to ask for help here, it's a new place." He looked pointedly at his niece. "Chels... whatever the issue is drop it for just one night, okay?" He smiled at Hermione before going to serve them all dinner.

Chelsea stared blankly at the table.

Hermione looked at the two and she sighed. "Okay you two, time to talk."

Koen slid plates in front of everyone as well as drinks. "Be careful it's hot." He sat down beside his niece, across from Hermione.

Chelsea sighed. "I have nothing to say."

"Now we both know that isn't true." She told them.

"I've said all I had to say," she replied quietly picking up her fork to eat.

"Well say something to each other, it's hurting the both of you." Hermione told her. "Look, you two have been close since you were children, Chelsea you're Arthur's eyes and Arthur you're Chelsea's conscience." She continued. "Neither of you are doing well with yourselves at the moment, we can both see it."

"What am I supposed to say? Everyone knows how I feel and that makes me hate it all... I feel like the stupidest person alive for saying anything at all. I knew I shouldn't have but I did anyhow and now it's all crap... all of it. Nothing is going to be the same anymore..."

"It won't be the same.until you let it go." Arthur finally spoke up. "You've told me a d I've told you, what's done is done, yes the outcome isn't what either of us want ted but there is nothing that we could do."

"It's not that simple... you can't just 'let go' of feelings. Maybe it's easy for you because you don't feel the same but it's not like that for me... I'm trying the best I know how to." she muttered sounding annoyed as she picked up her fork to take a bite of dinner promptly dropping the fork onto her plate again and grumbling when she burned the top of her mouth.

"I'm.sorry I said anything." He told her.

She shook her head pushing the plate away. "No... if anyone's sorry it's me."
