More Than This

He smiled softly.

She glanced up at him and smiled.

He kissed the top of her head gently.

She smiled kissing him back.

He kept the kiss.

She kept the kiss for a few moments before pulling away to enjoy the remainder of the ride.

He enjoyed the remainder of the ride with her.

She got off when the ride stopped.

He got off with her.

She kept his hand as she stepped off the ride looking around.

He looked around at her.

She smiled heading for the one of the games.

He followed.

"What game should we play?"

He shrugged. "What would you like to play?"

"Oh, I don't mind. We can play whatever you like."

"Why don't we apply one of these?" He asked nodding to some simple and common fair stalls.

She nodded leading him over to the closest game.

He followed.

She tried to play the game but was very bad at it.

He watched her.

Bryony laughed shaking her head. "Well that wasn't very good. Do you want to try?"

He smiled and he paid for more turns and he pulled her to stand in front of him, against his chest, and he used his hands to guide her in how to hit the targets and with each throw she hit each target.

She smiled when he did this, leaning gently back into his chest giggling each time they threw the ball together. "How are you so good?"

He shrugged. "Spent a lot of time playing catch as a kid."
