Immortal Mansion

"Sarah," he whispered rubbing his thumb over her hand.

Brooke walked in smiling lightly at seeing the two of them.

He limped forward not really sure where he was going, trying to get his barrings on things.

"She's still awake."

Sarah didn't stir anymore but he would have been able to feel her in his head.

Ariadne looked up as she heard something shuffle and she saw him.

"Sorry I was gone so long..."

"Hey," he spoke in his head to her.

Nate said nothing but he looked at her with clear confusion in his eyes.

She was on her feet not really knowing what to do, she looked terrified.

Dean looked at her. "Don't worry about it."

"Hey... What happened?"

Nate looked at her and something in his gaze said he knew exactly who she was but at the same time, he didn't.

She smiled softly. "Looks like you have everything under control.

He smiled. "Madison helped."

"Nate?" She whispered, she almost thought she was hallucinating.

Brooke smiled warmly sitting on the edge of his bed. "Ah, she's wonderful."

Nate blinked at her in confusion. "N-nate?.." he mumbled the name sounding funny in his mouth.

She didn't really know what to say, but she pulled out her phone and showed him the main picture it was of him and her. "Nate,"

Dean smiled.

He looked at the photo his vision still fuzzy, slowly lifting his gaze to hers once more. "Nate.." he whispered again more slowly tilting her head at her.

She looked at him. "That's your name." She told him quietly.

He studied her and then the photo once more. "How-... I-.. "

She didn't really know what to say, so she started from the beginning. "We met three years ago in high school."

He rubbed at his neck, winching when he felt one of the many cuts and bruises he had there. Dropping his hand back down he continued to look at her trying to remember how he knew her, remember something of what she was saying.

Ariadne filled him in on small details, starting with their friendship for now.

Nate listened quietly doing his best to understand and asking more than a few questions.

She answered all the questions that he has.

Even as he listened and there seemed to be some part of him that knew her and what she was saying, the part of Nate that was there and present didn't know anything.

She looked to him. "Do you have somewhere to sleep tonight?"

He looked at her for a moment before finally replying, "No, I don't think so."

She looked around. "There's a motel a few streets away."

He turned and looked nodding slowly.

She lead him in the direction of the motel.

Nate trailed after her slowly.

She made sure that he could always see her and she walked to the reception area and bought them a room, leading him to the correct door.

He followed her with clean confusion but didn't question a thing.
