"I talk about everything else. Everyone has something they can't talk about and 'he' is mine."

"At least talk to him."

"You don't think I've tried? The last time I tried speaking to him he shouted at me and walked away."

"Yeah that was before he moved out, you need to speak to him."

"He's made it very clear that he doesn't want to speak to me."

"You need to try."

"I've tried so many times and he hasn't. That's more than enough of a clue to me that he wants nothing to do with me."

"Because he thinks you don't want to talk to him."

"I do-.. oh, come on! He knows I do! He knows how I feel..." she exclaimed more loudly than she planned her voice cracking.

"You hardly say anything to him!" She told her. "He can't read minds."

"Oh, and I can?!"

"When are you going to see that you're making it worse?"

"Yeah of course. It's ALWAYS my fault," she muttered shaking her head.

"No this time it definitely is."

Brooke clenched her jaw to keep from snapping at her in anger.

"So get your bit down there and talk to him."

"Are you done?"

"Yes."

"Good," she grumbled.

"Now I'm going back down to my friends, you need to come as. We'll."

"Then go. I'll come down when I'm ready."

"Which will probably be tomorrow morning." She told her as she left.

Brooke let out a very deep breath of frustration, went into the bathroom to wash her face and headed slowly downstairs.

Ariadne had sat back with grace and Peter and they were enjoying a drink.

Nathaniel had taken to doing the dishes.

Madison had taken the little one to get cleaned up.

Bo remained with the others.

Brooke entered the room quietly.
