Reuniting Tornedalians

She looked at him. "Ill marry you on one condition." She told him. "I love you, and I agree the best thing Faun and Harrison did was introduce me to you, but if I'm going to marry you, I want you to smile more."

"Smile more? I smile plenty..."

"Not as much as you think." She told him. "But that's my only request."

Noah shook his head, closing the box and putting it on the table as he got up. "No. These things aren't meant to have conditions. I'm not asking you to change anything about yourself, you can't do that to me."

"Alright it's not really a condition, I just love to see you smile."

"Right, so whats the answer?"

"Of course I'll marry you."

Noah smiled brightly at that, passing the ring box over to her. "Good."

She smiled, sliding the ring on.

Noah slid his arms around her waist then, tugging her closer and kissing her deeply.

She slid her arms. Around him kissing him deeply.

"No one can steal you from me now," Noah hummed against her lips.

She smiled softly. "They couldn't have done that anyway."

"Mm, they've been trying. I've seen the way Matthew has been looking at you."

"Let them look, I've always been yours." She told him. "None of them stand a chance."

Noah nodded, brushing his nose against hers gently.

She brushed her nose to his.

"I forgot to make us some dessert, I'm sorry."

"Don't worry about it." She told him. "You've done enough."

"Mm, well then, what would you like to do?"

"Well, we could eat these." She told him, walking to her backpack and pulling out his favourite muffins. "And happy second anniversary."

Noah smiled brightly at that, "You remembered."

She nodded. "I did."

Noah picked up one of the muffins and dug in contently.

She ate hers with him, content.
