The next day, Mikael had arrived at Ragnar's farm and he was sat at the fireplace as Eadgar made breakfast.

Thora came out of her sleeping area, fastening her sword belt around her waist.

Astrid was heading home, after spending the night in the forest with Cedric.

Solveig was sat on Thora's bed playing with a makeshift doll.

Ragnar splashed his face with water, trying to get rid of the hangover feeling.

"How are we going to play this one?" Cedric chuckled as he walked alongside Astrid.

"Come back to bed?" Freya hummed, sat up and watching him. "Lets do nothing today."

"I went out for air, you followed for my safety and we fell asleep by the river?"

"Perfect," He grinned. "Your a genius."

Floki knocked on the front door.

"I like you a lot, why?" He asked.

Mikael walked. To the door and pulled it open.

"A lot? How much is a lot?" Freya hummed.

"Hello," Floki greeted, wearing his chieftan robes. "You've been expecting me, I presume?"

"Why do you want to know?"

"I am, please come in." He moved aside. "Eadgar put another log in the fire." He looked to his brother and Freya sleeping quarters. "Ragnar, get up you have a visitor."

"I just-" She began, cutting off with a grimace when she heard Mikael. "Never mind."

Floki took a step ijside and headed to the main area, standing near the fire. Giving a nod of greeting to Thora.

"Later." He promised.

Thora raised an eyebrow before she picked up her bow and arrows.

"Thora, sit." Mikael told her.

"What's the point, we know why he's here and we know who he is going to choose." Thora told him. "Astrid, it's always Astrid, I'll always be second best to Astrid." She tomd him and she looked to Solveig. "Come on, time for your archery practice."

Freya sighed, mumbling a quiet, "Sure Ragnar," as she got to her feet and got dressed. Wandering out to the main room and watching the goings on.

"You speak as if you were interested as we danced yesterday," Floki hummed in amusment.

"Don't flatter yourself," Thora told him. "I know my place and its not with you." She told him as she walked out of the house.

Ragnar looked to Floki. "Unfortunately Astrid does not appear to be here," He walked to Eadgar. "Have you seen my more pleasant little sister?"

"Yes Thora," Freya hummed quietly in approval as she left.

Floki wrinkled his nose and glared at Freya when he heard her.

Ragnar gave him a look that acted as a warning.

"Sorry I fell asleep after my walk last night." Astrid told them as she walked inside. "Why does Thora look like she wants to aim for humans with her arrows instead of trees?"

"Astrid you need to sit down." Mikael told her.

Cedric wandered inside, pausing in the doorway as he looked between everyone.

Floki smiled when he saw Astrid.

Astrid looked to Floki when she saw him. "Oh hello." She told him as she sat down by the fire warming her hands.

"Mikael gestured for Floki to sit by the fire with them.

Floki done so, sitting himself down.

Cedric glanced over to Eadger and raised an eyebrow in silent question; wondering what was going on

Eadgar simply shrugged at him.

"I take it you have made your decision?" Mikael asked Floki. "You choose Astrid, so I ask you what you wish to give for her?"

"Give?" Floki laughed at that. "Oh you misunderstand. I am not giving you anything for her, other than forging bonds between the villages. I am not offering you money, as if she is some common slave. No, no. If I marry her, I can garuntee your cheiftan peace."

"See that's not how the marriages work." Mikael told him. "Our chieftain promised that normal marriage law will be followed."
