Dean kissed her back. "Didn't know you'd be here Peter."

"Yeah stopped by to see my favourite girl." He smiled to Deanna.

Brooke gave a soft smile. "I asked him to join us next month for Deanna's birthday at the theme park... I know she'll love having us all there."

"Brooke, babe, can I talk to you for a minute?"

"Um, yeah, of course.." she looked confused but got to her feet. "Pete, can you keep an eye on Dee for a moment?"

"Yeah sure." Peter shrugged.

Brooke walked out into the hall.

Dean went with her and he closed the door. "Babe, I didn't know you were inviting Peter, I only have three tickets babe."

"Then I'll get another one. It's not that big of a deal. Plus you know how happy it will make Dee if we're all spending her birthday with her."

"Yeah but I thought that this was meant to be a parents and child thing, it was the only 3 left."

"Well you never said anything like that to me... and three left? It's an amusement park..."

"Yeah, but I may have gone a bit above." He told her.

She looked at him. "What are you talking about?"

"Well, there is a certain type of ticket you can get that means no limitations but also give you a birthday surprise"

She sighed softly. "Well you didn't tell me any of this, so how was I supposed to know?"

"Because I thought it would be a good surprise."

"It's a beautiful surprise, Dean but I wish I knew before I asked Pete to join us... I'll fix it though. I'll let do something else with Deanna on a different day."

"Yeah sure."

She looked at him. "What?"

"Sorry I was agreeing with you."

"Oh, well then I'm sorry. I thought you sounded displeased."

"Nope, just agreeing."

She nodded. "Okay."

He kissed her cheek.

She kissed him back properly. "How was work?"

"Not too bad." He told her. "I might be up for a promotion next week."
