Immortal Mansion

She remained in the doorway, watching him.

She smiled, turning her head to give him a proper kiss.

He put his helmet on as he climbed onto his bike and he gave her a wave before he rode off at an easy pace back towards his house that was about five houses away.

He kissed her back.

She waved, watching him leave expecting to see him disappear into the night but much to her surprise she was still about to see him as he when he got to his him and she looked slightly perplexed as she went back inside.

She smiled up at him.

He went back into his own home and he smiled to himself.

He smiled back.

She went back inside.

"We'll see you tonight?"

He nodded.

He headed home.

Brooke smiled. "Are you hungry yet?" she asked their daughter.

She went about doing what she needed to.

Their daughter nodded.

He set about sorting out his things.

"Alright little miss, lets get you some breakfast."

She did the same.

Dean watched them go.

That night he went to bed and when he got up the next morning he was out in front of his house doing some work on his bike.

She carried her downstairs.

The next morning she showered, had breakfast and got ready for her day.

He was still working on the bike when it was mid morning.

Dea fiished getting ready for work.

Brooke set her down on a chair and went to warm up her breakfast.

She headed out for a run and stopped when she seen him. "Hey, you."

"Hey yourself." He smiled slightly as he took a sip of water.

Dean came down after a few minutes.

"So this is your place," she asked, gesturing towards the house.

By then, Brooke had warmed up Deanna's breakfast for her and was sitting at the table with her while she ate.

He nodded. "Yep."

"I'm off out, so I'll see you later."

"How come you didn't say anything last night?"

She nodded. "Be careful, I love you."

"Love you too." He told her.

He shrugged. "You never really asked."

She smiled, beckoning close for a quick kiss before he left.

"I suppose I didn't, did I?"

He walked over, giving her a quick kiss.

He nodded.

Brooke smiled, kissing him gently in return. "See you tonight."

"Have you lived here long?"

"About three years." He told her. "What about yourself?"

He nodded and he headed out, after giving their daughter a kiss on her head.

"Not very long at all.. I've been in this town awhile but not this block," she laughed softly. "Only a few weeks or so."

She watched him go. "So what should we do today?" she asked her daughter.

He nodded. "I'm sure you'll like it here, it's pretty quiet and doesn't get a lot of trouble."

"Mm, minus last night?"
