Creatures of the Dark

She nodded and continued walking.

He walked with her.

"They must want something," she whispered.

He nodded in agreement.

"Should we ask or call home?"

"Call Alice and Frankie?" He suggested. "Maybe two dark angels will scare them off."

She nodded, pulling out her phone and dialing the number.

Alice was meditating on the balcony of hers and Frankie's room when the phone went off and she got herself down before she answered it.

Frankie was changing the baby when the phone began to rang.

"Hello, Alice? Frankie?" Ana asked quietly.

“Hey Ana, what’s up?” Alice moved to sit on the bed next to the baby and she touched Frankies arm when she heard Anas voice.

Frankie tilted his head slightly to show he was listening at the touch but his attention was mostly on the baby.

"Angels," she answered quietly. "They've been following us. They haven't said anything and we don't know who they are."

"Okay, don't panic, I will come down and meet you." She told her.

"We're good, just curious to what they want," she answered softly, "we'll see you shortly then."

Alice nodded and she hung up, walking over to grab her shoes and jacket.

"Alice is on her," she told him quietly as she slipped her phone back into her pocket.

“Angels following Ana and Stephan.”

"Do you want me to come?"

She continued to walk, though slowly now.

"If you would like."

"I don't know if you'll need me or not but it can't hurt," he nodded.

"She won't be alone. Everyone else is still home, they'll keep an eye on her. Unless you want me to stay with her."

She leaned against him as they walked.

"We don't know what these angels are going to be like, we need to show some strength."

He held her close.

He nodded. "That was my thought but I don't want you worrying about our daughter either." Frankie walked out into the hall and called to the others so he could quickly update everyone on the situation.

Ana leaned her head lightly on his shoulder as they continued to walk slowly.

Hayden was the only one to come, the others having gone out to check out the town. "I'll watch her."
