"I'm sure she's going to contact you eventually, maybe she's busy with work?" He suggested, trying to be helpful. "Wasn't she due to fly to the Amazon this week? I don't think their cell reception is good." He was simply trying to be helpful and hopefully give her some comfort.

“I’m not, I pride myself on being quite smart.” Dagmar laughed gently. “You… we - “ she shook her head, struggling for the words. “I’ll set up a meeting with The Guardians in a few days, I’ll meet you here to escort you in say… three? But in the meantime, you need to do something about solidifying your position. You just threw everything into a free fall when you called the ruling family out and now nobody knows where to look or who to turn to or who’s running things, just that you’re supposedly sorting out a treaty. Get some clarity on that, stabilise your faction. Settle things just in case anything happens… that way if last nights gets found out they can’t say it lead to either of us denying our responsibilities mm?”

He nodded. "Alright," He told her, watching the sky as he took a bite of the sandwich.

“You forget you’re not a nobody to all those lot anymore… the other factions will have their Seers on you and they’ll use anything they can against you. “Especially now you’ve pissed off Mr Exile and his sister is sweet on you.” She added with a small laugh. “I’m just hoping that whatever wards you’ve put up on this house keep them out… you were smart enough to ward the house mm?”

“If you do end up marrying her as part of this treaty, don’t invite me to the wedding because I cannot guarantee I won’t object and ruin things for us both…” Dagmar warned mischievously, kissing him briefly before pulling herself away. “I have a soul to guide…”

“I’ll correct myself to if you have to marry anyone to form a treaty then.” Dagmar laughed before heading out of the house, shoving her hands in her pockets as she made her way towards the park where she said she’d meet Florence.

"Hey Eve, you know the other day when you ask me what I was hiding?" He asked her.

Scarlet was sitting on a bench, she'd not long got back and that was evident in her beaten appearance, she had bandages on her hands and her arms, but she still appeared focussed, she was dressed as a normal human, reading, however any angel would be able to see that it was the treaty that she had been reading.

“You brought me a coffee? That’s… very sweet of you.” Dagmar laughed softly as she took it. “Thank you… that’s - actually unexpected. Nobody’s ever got me a gift before I essentially killed them before.”

“I’ve not been truly honest…the truth is I’m not entirely human.”

Scarlet sent a quick text to Conon asking for them to meet.

“Plenty of soup… you’ll have to get used to tea I’m afraid though. It won’t be forever… well depending on where you go. Some factions are modernised. Some prefer the dark ages.”

Scarlet text him back telling him it was a bit of both.

"Okay, in basic sense, I have werewolf genes, but no wolf." He told her.

“Mm, they range in ages. There’s some even older than me, and there’s a few actual children. All women… and only women are allowed in the living quarters. It’s the same with my kind, it’s a sacred space. Unfortunately it does mean you won’t be having any late night visitors during your training.” she joked lightly.

Scarlet looked to him. "What's put a bee in your bonnet?" She asked, holding out a coffee to him. "I'm here to give you some good news actually, you don't have to worry about my father, so you don't have to worry about the treaty and so you're free to stop spending time with me now." She told him as she sipped her own coffee, she still wore his bracelet, it was poking out from under her sleeve and bandages.

"Well, it is simple for you." He told her with a soft laugh.

"I have taken over my father's duties." Scarlet told him. "And we worked without one before." She looked to the ground. "You know how I feel about you, and I know that you don't feel the same, I'm not blind or stupid but those fates must really hate me," She told him as she looked to him. "I would only get in the way of your romance with, your valkyrie, sorry don't know her name."

Elijah sighed. "I can't shift, I am normal for the most part, it was never activated and as long as it doesn't get activated I'm normal."

“I cope with it because I very rarely get downtime to be in my quarters and by then I’m usually tired of egotistical males and the peace is… welcome.” Dagmar mused. “I spend most of my time with the vampires at the moment, their leader Magnus is a hothead. Fraternising with anyone who has any political power at all is a big no no for Valkyrie’s but it doesn’t mean we’re not allowed to flirt if it keeps the peace - which it does with Magnus. He’s charmed easily enough, soothe his ego and war is put off for another day or two.” She laughed softly.
