She nodded. “Well it was me that helped Ana and Stefan so I don’t see why not.”

"I-.. I'll talk with him.."

She nodded. “Okay.”

She smiled a tiny bit which was a little for her very shy self.

Alice smiled warmly in return

Rylee finished helping in the kitchen with whatever she could before going off to find Max.

Max had gone back up to his room and was reading on his windowsill

She made her way up there after looking everywhere else.

Max looked up as he heard her come in. “Hey Rylee.”

"Hi," she whispered shyly, making her way over to him.

“You okay?” He asked putting the book down and making room for her to sit down with him

She nodded. "I- yes.. but can we talk about something?"

He nodded. “Yeah sure.”

She flicked in and out, settling herself on his bed.

He looked to her. “What do you want to talk about?”

"I might be jumping very far ahead of things for us but.. I wanted to ask about our future together.."

“Okay, anything specific?”

"What.. do you want for us?"

“I’m sorry you might have to be a bit more specific.”

"I-.. a family of our own.."

“I’ve never really thought about it to be honest.” He told her. “I mean as a huma. Yeah I thought about it and I enjoyed the idea of it but now….I don’t know, would you even want children?”

She fidgeted quite a lot at the question. "I- I'm not even sure I can have any. I'm not like the others.."

“It’s the same for most people here, I mean Hayden is the only one able to have a child naturally everyone else had help….I suppose it would be the same for us.”

"What about Alice? Was it hard for them?"

“I suppose so Alice has never really talked about it.”
