Immortal Mansion

“We need to stop it’s too much for him.” The scientists voice came through the speaker.

“You are here to do a job, keep going.” He told her ignoring Denise for now. “He’s our most prized experiment we can’t lose him.”

She turned to him. "Let me go to him!" She yelled. "You're killing him and I can help him!"

“Do the other experiments whilst he is out, that will wake him up.” He told them and the scientist looked up at them like he was mad, before she pushed another vial of liquid into Peters Iv. One of the guards looked to Denise and he took her by her shoulder turning her to a door, it lead to stairs down to the lab he stood in front of her so that Peters father would t see her

She flinched at suddenly being touched having told them earlier not to but when she was turned towards a door she relaxed. Without a word or a sound, she gave a nod and hurried down the steps to get to Peter.

When she saw Denise the scientist froze and she looked between Denise and Peter she saw the tear marks on Denise’s face. “You love him?” She asked. “I’m sorry that we have to do this to him.”

Denise nodded. "He's mine..." She whispered, walking right past her and to Peter slipping her hand into his. "Hey, you need to come back to me, you hear me? I need you.. I won't leave you're side again. I promise. I'm sorry I let them take you away.. they won't do it again. Come back.. make the bond come back.." Everything she said was barely a whisper and she had her face pressed into his chest so he could feel her tears and how close so was.

“And you’re his.” She told her and she moved away to watch them, ignoring the obvious sounds of shouting from upstairs when Peters father realised that she was down there and he turned on the guard who had let her go down there. Peter remained lifeless on the table the colour draining from his skin, she wouldn’t have been able to hear his heart beat

"Peter, you promised.. I won't ever forgive you if you leave me all alone.." she was no longer paying attention to anyone, all of her focus was solely on Peter. The more he slipped away, the more hysterical she became.

The more she spoke to him the more there were faint traces of the bond they were so faint that she might not have heard or felt them

Her one hand that was clenching his never moved but her other gently rubbed his cheek as she whispered to him through her tears.

Soon there was some heart bleeps on the heart monitor and the colour returned to Peters body including the bond the more his heart beat the stronger it got

Denise felt the bond before she noticed anything else and at first she cried even harder. "Don't you do that!" She shouted at him, lightly smacking his arm. "You scared the hell out of me!"

He winced sligjtly when she smacked him, his eyes opening sligjtly. His current form was more sensitive than his everyday form.

The scientist smiled softly as she watched them.

She immediately regretted smacking him and moved so that she could nuzzle her head against his affectionately, she was trying to show him that it didn't matter, she loved him no matter what. "No more scares."

He couldn’t really do much because of how he was fastened to the board but he was able to muzzle her. He loved her so much it was unreal.

She let out a breath when he nuzzled her back and turned to the women. "Can we unfasten at least one of his hands? Please.. for a little while?" She knew that the closer they were and the more touch contact that they had the stronger their bond was in the moment.
