Her punishment coming to an end was a day I was grunting down to, Conan doing this punishes me and our children just as much as it punishes Thea. Matilda wrinkled her nose, shaking her head. "You do, yes. They love you. They still love you."

“Kari, the Guardians sentenced her to fifty years behind her own borders. All of what you’re saying would’ve applied for that long anyway. The children won’t be children by the time she is free to leave. We will still have to go there to her.”

Carrassing her thumb against his skin gently; "I believe Sarika loves you, cares for you. I do not helirve she is in love with you. I don't think Draven should praise you for dying in their name. I - I think you deserve to be fought for rather than always being slme kind of sacrificial lamb."

"I don't- I don't know if I do. I have never thought about it."

“How am I to ever trust my feelings again if I believed for decades she was in love with me and it turns out I was blindsided the entire time?” Izsak asked quietly. “I could be completely misinterpreting what we have then, too. "No! No! You need to hear how I am feeling and accept it rather than yell at me for it!" Karina retorted, though her anger was muffled by a sob and she backed away from him. Making a quiet, pained nose when she heard Ira whine and turned on the ball of her heel to flee the room.

"No need." Florence whispered. "I... appreciate the line of thought."

"We all have a first love, whom didn't love us back quite as much." Matilda emphasised quietly. "The person you are supposed to be with is going to fight for you though, they won't want anyone but you. I - if you aren't sure on this, on us, then that is okay but I love you... I have fought for you. I don't want anyone right now other than you. If you arentnteady for that, I will give you space but... that is where I stand."

“I was sure on us, until I began to doubt my own feelings and how I perceive things.” Izsak swallowed thickly. “I was so sure for years that she was in love with me too. But you’re not saying she wasn’t, and that I don’t k ow what love is really… so what if I’m wrong? And what I’m feeling toward you isn’t a mating bond but just fucking strong attraction? What if I’m so emotionally dense I misread it?” He almost whined then, rolling onto his stomach to bury his face into a pillow.

Emmett turned to face his son at the noise, crouching down and holding his arms out.

“I’m sure you’ll be happy whatever you decide.”

I'm not expert, I am imagine Sarika loved you, I imagine you loved her too but I think there was... a power imbalance and I think she should have treated you better but what do I know, mm? In the end... I'm a a Seer, not a wolf. It doesn't matter how long I am around you all, I can not feel how you do. I don't want to undermine your feelings, I just... I just want you to know that I'll fight for you. I don't intend on letting anyone come above you."

"Wolves and Fae.. we don't mix do we? Biologically. I remember that lesson from the Guardian's. It's rare... so, perhaps I'll never get biologically children."

"Do you think the Guardian's can punish me for ignoring my Seer's temper tantrum?" Conan asked with a sleepy hum as he bounced Aesira on his knee - perched on the edge of his bed

Ira gripped onto Emmett as he snuggled against hik with a quiet whimper.

Eden shaking her head, playing at dismissive, and turning he'd attention back onto her toys- though this was just done as mickery, as she glanced over for approval after a few seconds.

"No. I never said it was bad. I just... I have never given it proper thought." Florence frowned. "I had dreamed of a life with someone but never though it a possibility."

"No one has," Matilda whispered. "I'd love to speak to anyone who does. Do you need me to give you some space?"

“It’s okay.” Emmett soothed gently, rubbing his sons back. “Sorry for using loud voices, it’s too early for that isn’t it.”

“No, but I did warn you she’d be coming for you at some point.” Dagmar yawned from where she was still snuggled under the covers with Cassius against her chest. “I tried to reason with her over Thea and it didn’t work…”

“It seems a possibility now does it not?”

“I’m gonna go get some air.” Izsak shook his head as he got up, moving to his drawers to dress himself quickly.

Matilda sat herself up properly then, taking his pillow and hugging it to her body. "Okay... stay safe. You know what some of the vampires are like now."

Ira cuddled into him, still quietly whimpering.

Eden dropped her toys, using the sofa to pull herself up to her feet and toddle over. Reaching her hands out to grab onto Emmett's trouser leg and tugged jealously.

"I'll be right back," Conan grimaced, gently placing Aesira down near Cassius. "Wish me luck."

"It does... a scary one."

“I’ll be fine.” Izsak murmured as he pulled on his boots, quickly heading out.

“Do you want me to come with you?” Dagmar asked as she moved to sit up.

“Okay, okay. I’ve got you both.” Emmett grimaced as he bent down and gently scooped Eden up in his free arm so he was holding them both.

"Yeah," Florence whispered. "My mother died when I was young, my step mother was... she done her best but you could tell my sister was her biological child. I've seen myself as a wife, yes, but never a mother. I'm not sure if I would know how."

Eden giggled happily then, patting her palms against his shoulder before reaching for his hair. "Papa."

"No," Conan whispered, grimacing at the pounding on the door. "No, cherish the time with the kids. One of us needed to be with them if they wake."

Magnus was tiredly wandering out of his room, his hands lazily rubbing at his eyes as he walked the halls. Exclaiming a quiet; "Shit." as he walked into Izsak.

“Come back to bed when you’ve had your telling off.” Dagmar hummed lightly, moving to bring her daughter in close and closing her eyes once more.

“And you’re Eden.” Emmett laughed softly, moving to sit down on the couch.

"That - that really does sound terrifying. Is that why most of the men are aloof? Why the caring ones are looked at as strange- the idea of losing thr mother of your child is easier if there is distance."

Eden frowned, leaning back and pointing to herself.
