Immortal Mansion

“I know, I used to work there.” Kol told her.

She tried very hard not to cringe at this though she was sure she knew this already. "The killed him and brought him back and killed him and... they didn't even care.. he didn't care." she paused to get into the car because she wasn't about to let go of Thomas. "We learned I have powers though.. or at least I have some form of shielding and healing powers." Yes, she was okay with letting Kol know that.

Kol nodded. “Best person to ask if you want to get that stronger is Sarah.” He advised. “But that explains why he looks he way he does.”

She nodded. "Maybe later, I'm not to worry about it right not. Peter do you want to tell Kol the rest or umm.. are you alright with me telling him what happened and who this little guy is?"

“You can do it if you want.” Peter told her

She nodded, it hadn't mattered to her either way. "Before we left.. Peter.. well he's gone." Denise stressed the word 'He' hoping Kol would pick up on who she meant and what she meant by 'gone'. "We also learned that this little guy here is Thomas and he is biologically Peter's son."

Peter looked between Kol and Thomas and he saw the expressionless look on Kols face for him that was never good. “So you have a kid?” Kol asked him. “What happened to waiting until you were stable?” Kol asked him his voice eerily monotone.

“I didn’t get a choice in this.” Peter told him.

"It was without his knowledge and without his consent, Kol. He didn't know but now he does.. we do." She replied correcting herself. "I'm not sure what's going on here but Peter won't be alone.. I'll be here every step of the way."

“That’s not the point I’m making.” He told her. “My point is, you must have known something you’re telekinetic and telepathic as a base power.”

Denise looked to Peter but that was it, she wasn't going to push the matter because to her it was finished. She was finding things out, figuring things out and accepting things all as it happened.

“I was probably dead when he did this.” Peter told him. “Either way I have a son and when Elsa and Sarah get here a wife, that’s it Kol.”

Kol looked to him he looked like he wanted to say something but he bit his tongue. “Peter this isn’t the life I wanted for you.” He sighed. “But I can see that this is the life you’ve obviously chosen to have so I’m not going to say anything.” He told her. “But do me a favour, bring him to meet the family tonight.”

Denise was quiet throughout this exchange between the brothers despite the fact that she may have taken some of what was said a little personally without even meaning to or even understanding why she was, perhaps it was the bond that didn't like it.

Peter looked at his brother his eyes occasionally glancing to land on her before they went back to him. “I’ll bring them both to the house.” He told him. “But I don’t want any judging.”

Kol nodded. “It’s not me you have to convince its Elsa.” He told him. “Out of curiosity though can he do what you can do?”

“He can shift forms yes.”

She still said nothing at all as she held Thomas in her arms, soothing his hair gently.

“Can I see?” Kol asked.

Peter nodded and he carefully took Thomas band off the little one turning into the smaller version of Peter

Denise said nothing still and she kept Thomas in her arms to show she didn't care nor was she afraid or upset by any of it. Thomas was her little boy no matter what form he was in.

Kol smiled softly gently taking the little boys hand. “Hello Thomas, I’m your uncle Kol.” Thomas looked to him and he smiled slightly showing small fangs.

This seemed to calm Denise who had been growing anxious without even realizing it or meaning to but it was still a lot and she was definitely trying, she was in all sense and purposes already extremely protective of Thomas without needing to be right now.

Kol smiled softly at the boy. “Right, come over tonight.”

She nodded. "We'll be there."

Kol nodded. “Good I’ll tell Elsa andSarah to leave whatever it is until tonight, come about 3.”

She nodded once more.

“Right, I will see you at three, I assume you will want to go and get this little guy some things.”

"If Peter is ready to go now."

“I’m ready if you are.”
