Brooke was bad at this clearly.. with the two relationships she had/was in?.. she didn't know what to do. And the moment he stepped away her heart kinda snuck and she backed away lowering her gaze and moving to sit with Elsa.

Elijah rolled his eyes.

Damian wasn’t any better he hadn’t had much luck with relationships in the past, his brother knew how bad some of them became and he didn’t know what to do.

Elsa watched them and she gently squeezed her hand

Brooke squeezed her hand rather tightly, giving her a look.

She smiled softly to her. “Try again later.” She whispered.

Brooke shook her head. "This isn't a good idea.."

“Why not?” She asked. “Let’s go and unpack.” She told her, aiming to give them some privacy so that she could talk freely. “Same room?”

“Yeah next to Elijah.” Damian told her and Elsa got up gesturing for Brooke to follow

Brooke didn't say anything right then, getting to her feet and following Elsa from the room, taking the drink with her.

Elijah watched the girls leave, turning his eyes onto his brother. "What the hell is wrong with you?"

“What do you mean?” He asked.

When they were in the room she shut and locked the door putting a layer of ice around it to silence it to give them privacy. “Talk to me.@

"You know what I mean. We all saw that."

"He pulled away. What am I meant to do? Plus.. what if Dean does come back home and Peter.. and I have Deanna to think about an-and.. I-.." she honestly didn't know what she was thinking but she did know that there was something there.

“You know how I feel about relationships.@ Damian told him.

“Damian hadn’t had the best luck with relationships.” She explained

"And I have? Peter is married and Dean.. well look at everything with him.." Brooke ran a hand through her hair packing back and forth across the room.

"Relationships, yeah but that was obviously something else. You both felt something, didn't you?"

“It’s still a relationship Eli.” He groaned. “I don’t know what I felt.”

“Brooke you felt something with him, more than with Peter and Dean.” Elsa guessed. “I saw it.”

"You're such a liar. You froze. You both did.. I'm not blind. That other girl even saw it, D. Talk to the girl." He urged him.

"What am I supposed to do?"

“Talk to him.” Elsa told her.

“Oh yeah great advice.” Damian rolled his eyes. “I remember the last time you told me to do that…I still have the scars.”

"Then don't talk to her, be a chicken your entire life."

"It's not that I don't want to.." she whispered.

"Then why dont you go and talk to Elsa." He told him. "I saw how you looked at her."

"Look, we are here, two girls travelling new york, seeing the sights, you can just be Brooke here, you don't have to worry about anything."She reminded him.

"Fine. I'll talk to her if you go talk to the other one." Elijah smirked at him.

"I know, I know. It's just a little hard disconnecting myself from all of that."

Damian scowled at his brother. "Fine."

He chuckled. "Good. How about dinner?"

"I don't want to mess up again.. this isn't just about me."

"Eating in or going out?" Damian asked him.

"Right now, it is." She told her.

"What do you think they would prefer?"

"I'll try.. tell me about him?"

“So you know a bit about him already,” she told her. “So he loves Italian food, his favourite colour is red, he went to Harvard Law School.” She told her. “He loves running and spends his free time in the gym lifting weights.”

“Going out might be good.”

She nodded as she listened to this a small smile on her face, her cheeks still warm just hearing Elsa speak about him.

Elsa shrugged. “That’s the basics anything else he’ll have to tell you himself.”

"Does he know about Deanna? About the bond?"
