"We're not angry, Chels. We only want what's best for you, we want to see you finish dance school and make your dreams come true."

Chelsea hugged herself. "That's still happening and my dreams are coming true.. only sooner than planned and in a different order."

He nodded. “Are you sure that you and Sebastian are ready for this?”

"We know it's really soon.. really really and I swear it wasn't planned.. " she didn't know why but she felt like she had to say that again. "You both already know that he's done this before.. so I know that he is. I'll be ready.. I have a lot to learn but I will."

Hunter sighed. “Just promise me one thing, this wasn’t a plan of his, was it?” He asked

Chelsea stared at her father in absolutely confusion. "What? I-.. no! Absolutely, not. Why would he do this on purpose?"

“I just wanted to make sure.” He told her. “I know he misses his daughter, but I just wanted to be sure.”

That thought hadn't even crossed her mind. "He would never do that. I didn't even know about his daughter until recently."

He nodded. “Good.”

She nodded.

He looked to her. “Was there anything else that you wanted to talk to us about?”

She slowly shook her head. "Just.. please don't be upset with Sebastian." She didn't want him taking the downfall for this because he was older or the guy or simply because he wasn't their child. It was as much her fault for not being as careful as she should've been as it was his. Maybe even more so hers.

He nodded. “Don’t worry Sevastian is safe.”

She nodded, smiling a tiny bit.

He smiled back

She stared at her lap, messing with the sleeves of the hoodie she was wearing.

“You don’t have to look like a sad child you know.” He told her playfully

"I'm not sad," she said quietly without looking up.

“Then at least give us a smile.”

"I just have a lot on my mind now."

“I know but we will help as much as we can.” He promised. “Do you want to talk about what else is on your mind?”

"I appreciate all the help I already know that we'll be receiving but.. this is us. Bastian and I."

He nodded

"I'm going to have to step up and take responsibility."

He nodded. “You are.”

She nodded.
