He rolled his eyes at his mother kissing Alessia on the cheek and then he was gone.

She lightly brushed her fingertips along his cheek.

He looked up at her

"Not -Why?" Elliott questioned, wrinkling his nose in confusion

"We'll be just fine."

He nodded before he moved to sit up and he gently rested a hand on her cheek and kissed her deeply.

Thorin looked to her once they were gone. “You and I I doubt we will get along but for my grandchild I’ll try if you will.”

"I have never been anything but polite to you, I will not be trying anymore than I already have. It is you who has refused to accept me."

"Earthquakes can get you wherever you are, unless your home is floating in literal space." He snorted his amusment. "Bed give you sores if you never leave them and books can give you paper cuts unless they are on a screen which strains your eyes."

At the snort she sighed. “Good to know I’m funny, I know I’m younger than you but not everything I say is meant to come out as amusing.” She told him. “I’m going home it’s getting late, see you soon?” She asked

Thorin shrugged. “He’ll be in his bedroom if you want to if ind him second floor can’t miss it it’s a large black door.”

"You're being dramatic about all the wrong things. Fine with wolves but wanting to hide away from the rest of the world? I can't help finding it funny."

Hepulled her closer, quickly changing their position, lying her back on the bed as he deepened his kiss.

She tangled her fingers in the back of his shirt, holding him to her.

"Can't find your way out of the forest? What are you on about now - what does that have to do with anything?"

Max moved a hand into her hair, moving to press kissesto her skin.

"Your wife, whom your son assures me, wants to get to know me so I suggest you cancel your dinner plans."
