"The one I've caught is the one that done the water supply. There is another in town for defiant, possibly a third, the one I've got doesn't know where the other two are and Jeremy Gilbert night be a potential hunter." Klaus told her as he entered the living room, sitting down on the floor beside Vanessa and glancing to his sister.

Abigail just nodded a bit.

"Good to know, shame we can't kill the bastard." Rebekah sighed, turning to face Klaus with a serious face. "Tatia left again, just after you went. Saying something about not being able cope being around here any more."

"Him being cocky is what makes him fun though, most of the time he was a bore back in the 10th century."

Klaus instantly tensed up, narrowing his eyes a little bit and whispering, "You better not be messing with me, Bekah,"

Abigail just nodded a little bit, "Just so you know, I envy you, for having known him so long, for being older then me in general, for being stronger, for seeming so sure of yourself." She whispered

Rebekah burst out laughing at the way he tensed. "I'm totally messing with you," she snickered, "Oh, but I should've taken a picture of your face just then."

"I'd be smug about that if they were all down to me, but they're not." Olivia shrugged. "You shouldn't envy me, sure, I've known him longer, but you're the one he's with at the moment."

Klaus just glared at her, muttering, "Dont be an isiot, Rebekah," before turning his attention silently onto his daughter.

Abigail gave a subtle shrug, "What about he whole strength thing?" she asked quietly, "I was never making myself out to be stronger then I was. I know I'm probably the weakest in this town but they treat me like I still have the strength of a human sometimes, being told I sound pathetic isn't an all too nice thing to hear and honestly I don't even know why I'm talking to you about this, you've done nothing over then make me insecure about things yourself."

Rebekah just carried on laughing as she got up and stretched. "She's just nipped out for an hour, with full guarantee she's coming back." she told him before heading upstairs.

Vanessa just stared at the toys above her head, occasionally smiling at them and trying to reach them with her arms.

Olivia shrugged, "They're Originals. Strength and power is one of the things they love the most. People who pretend to have it when they don't just makes them look ridiculous in their eyes. You said not to underestimate you, which makes it sound like you're actually stronger than you are, but you just don't want to let it on."

"I meant not to act like I'm a human kind of under estimation." Abigail whispered quietly, shaking her head a bit at the topic of conversation, getting bored of it a little herself. Feeling better in simply telling someone what she meant and her side of it.

Klaus gave a small sigh before untying one of the toys and handing them to Vanessa, watching her silently.

"And you're telling me because I'm the only person you can tell. Whether or not you like me."

Vanessa put the toy straight in her mouth, trying to bite down on it despite her lack of teeth.

"Mm, I guess." Abigail replied with a shrug.

Klaus shook his head in the negative, taking the toy from her and putting it back before handing her her pacifier, "Try and bite down on that, Vanessa, it can't hurt you."

Vanessa tried to chew on the pacifier once she was handed it.

Olivia waited silently against the wall for a few more minutes, flinching slightly when Kol jerked awake with a gasp. She gently ran her fingers through his hair and helped him sit up. "You pissed off Klaus again, bad move Kol." she told him as he blearily looked around. "I guess Tatia's a sensitive subject with him, hmm?"

Klaus watched her silently.

Abigail slid her arms around Kol silently.

After a few minutes Vanessa spat the pacifier out and began crying loudly.

Kol leaned against Abigail. "He's a gigantic ass. What I'd give for a stake just to shove through his heart," he groaned.

"You don't mean that, at all." Olivia told him, which he didn't deny.

"Alright Jeremy, if you're sure."

A few hours later, Elijah suddenly turned up at Jeremy's door and he knocked on it.

Jeremy was laying on his bed, simply ignoring the knock on the door and looking up at the ceiling.

Klaus frowned deeply and picked Vanessa up, bouncing her up and down gently, "Sshh," he soothed quietly.

Abigail pressed a gentle kiss to the side of his head, not saying a word.

Vanessa continued to cry, ignoring Klaus' attempts to soothe her

Kol moved his head from side to side to relive the stiffness, groaning when it cracked a bit. "Why didn't you try to stop him?" he asked.

"Because he'd have staked me." Olivia replied with a shrug, "Or bitten me or something."

Klaus frowned a bit and got to his feet, carrying her into the kitchen and making her a bottle, seeing if feeding her would calm her down at all.

"Ditto," Abigail whispered quietly, running her fingers through his hair.

"I thought you were all strong and everything?" he asked.

"Forget about that now," Olivia told him, standing up and then pulling Kol up wih her. "What happened, happened. No need to dwell on it."

Vanessa took only a few mouthfulls before turning her head away from the bottle and beginning to cry again.

"I never said I was, I just don't want you all to keep thinking of me like I have the strength of a human. That's all I meant." Abigail explained quietly, lifting her gaze to meet his.

Klaus put the bottle down before sighing and just rubbing her bac soothingly.

"Let's just leave this argument until later huh? And go find someone who's not on vervain." Olivia suggested, leading them both from the house

Vanessa continued to cry, quietening down for a few minutes or so then getting louder.

Abigail was silent then, following without a word. Her eyes on the ground.

Klaus just let it a small sigh, "I don't know what's wrong, Vanessa." he frowned.

"Babies don't need a reason to cry Nik," Rebekah reminded him as she came into the room, wondering why Klaus hadn't calmed her down yet. "Though Tatia did mention something about her teething, which is why she went out."

"Don't look so wounded," Olivia rolled her eyes at Abigail, "Kol's like this ninety percent of the time,"

Klaus just frowned a little bit, letting Vanessa take a hold of his finger so she could gum his finger if he wanted to to try and stop the pain.

"I know," Abigail replied, " I'm aloud to look at the ground, it's not looking wounded."

"You've got the 'Bambi just watched his mom get shot' look on your face." Olivia pointed out.

Vanessa gummed down on his finger, which muffled her cries a little bit.

Abigail laughed quietly, "No I don't. "

Klaus sighed softly, that being the only thing he think of to do to help
