"Go ahead and talk then."

Tatia sighed and looked down, not meeting his gaze. "I never told you because I knew how you would react, and I knew you wouldn't want to be with me, that you'd hate me. After spending so long keeping away from you I couldn't do it all again... I regret not telling you so much Nik, and I know you hate me know, and I know I don't deserve it but if there's any chance of us getting together again..."

"Maybe in a few months ," Klaus grumbled quietly, "I don't know, okay? If you would of told me in the beginning then I might of looked past it, but it's the fact your continued to hide it. Why should I forgive you again Tat, why should I?"

Tatia shook her head, "I can't think of one, which is why I'm not expecting you to ever forgive or trust me again."

"I don't know if I can." Klaus grumbled quietly,"We'll see, I'll think about it."

Tatia nodded. "Do you want me to leave town for a bit? It might make it easier for you...I don't want to keep hurting you."

"I don't want to be horrible to Vanessa by preventing contact. We need to figure out what's happening with that."

"How about I pick her up every other day from school and keep her for a few hours before bringing her back to the house?"

"A few hours... Can you be more specific then that?"

"Two? Or do you not want her being with me that long?"

"Two is good, when is this starting from?"

"Tomorrow maybe?"

"Okay," Klaus replied with a small nod. "I'm going to head back now."

"Before you go," Tatia murmured quietly, before lifting her head to look at him and settling her hand gently on the side of his face. She quickly pressed her lips to his. "That's just in case you decide that there won't be an us any more."

Klaus tensed quite a bit before letting out a small sigh and relaxing, resting his hand on the side of her face he whispered, "I can't do this... I can't be without you." before kissing her back deeply, closing his eyes.

Tatia kissed him back, matching his kiss. "I can't be without you either..." she whispered back.

"I'm a bit paranoid I'm letting you walk all over me though," Klaus whispered, pressing his forehead to hers, keeping his eyes closed. "That's what Bekah and Kol'll say."

Tatia sighed. "If you don't want me back because of what they'll say then just let me know now."

"It's not so much what they say it's more like the fact that what they're saying could be true."

"Well if that's what you think, I can't change it."

"That's reassuring.."

"I'm not trying to walk all over you, and I don't think that's what I'm doing, but I can't help if you or others think that way."

Klaus was silent then

"If you don't want Rebekah and Kol to say anything, I don't have to move back in straight away. We can hold it off a while."

Klaus gave a small nod, "Yeah," he whispered, "I was thinking of that," he agreed, running his fingers through her hair gently.
