Aly frowned when Malvolio got up, pulling a pillow and sticking it over her head.

"To know if I'd seen its friends, but I haven't."

Klaus just shook his head before heading back inside.

"Violet, you want to come hunt with me?" Malvolio asked, coming out of the bathroom a moment later and adding, "Aly's being too lazy for me to even invite her."

"Sure," Violet nodded.

Vanessa followed Klaus inside.

Klaus glanced over his shoulder at her, just heading down into his studio and continuing his latest painting.

"You ready to go now?" Malvolio asked.

"Sure," she nodded, heading towards the door. "See your lazy ass later Alexandria." She called to Aly, who lifted an arm out of the bed to flip Violet off and correct her.

"What'cha painting?" Vanessa asked as she followed him down.

Malvolio just laughed, calling over his shoulder as he followed his sister, "Sweet dreams, Aly," Closing the door behind himself.

"Nothing in particular,"

"Well clearly you are, tell me?"

"You really like her, huh?" Violet asked as she walked with him.

"You remind me of your mother when your being nosey, Ness," Klaus laughed quietly.

Malvolio gave a nod, "I think so," he confirmed quietly, "Really like, at the least, not sure about the whole 'love' thing yet, though." he replied.

"Just don't forget about me when you go elope, hmm?" She teased.

"Nothing wrong with having questions."

"I never said there was. Where is your mother, anyway ?"

Malvolio laughed quietly, "Wouldn't dream of it."

"Good, glad your happy."

"Upstairs, not feeling well again. Why do you guys want a baby when it makes mommy sick?"

"You don't seem to be happy though," Malvolio pointed out, "You've seemed a mixture if down in the dumps, tired and angry since you've came back."

Klaus just shrugged a little bit, "She'll be okay, don't worry."

"I'm just getting used to stuff again, that's all."

"You sure? I don't like mommy not being well, she's boring."

"If your sure." Malvolio replied simply, pausing just outside an alleyway and grabbing a human, compelling, pulling them into the alleyway, feeding and then compelling them again as Finn had shown him.

"She'll be okay in a few months when the babies here, tired, very tired but okay. I'll be able to turn her then, too." He told her.

"Why will she be tired? And will she be back to normal when you turn her?"

Violet found a human and did the same, though she didn't stop, she just continued to feed.

"Because babies are hard work, and it's going to be crying a lot. She wont be ill any more when I turn her, more or less back to normal other then probably a little stressed or exhausted still depending on how much the baby will cry."

Malvolio just waited for her patiently, watching for a moment before glancing around silently.

Violet eventually dropped the guy to the floor. Dead and drained.

Vanessa nodded, "ah okay. Why does it make her sick?"

"So, what're we going to do today?" Malvolio asked.

"Because it lives in her belly until it's big enough and strong enough to met us all, and her body needs to get used to it."

"Thought you were gonna go back and spend the day with aly?"

Vanessas brows furrowed as she tried to understand it, eventually just nodding.

"I don't know what I'm going to do today. I wanted to know if you can think of anything and if you can't I'll ask Aly if she can and then the back-up can be trying to turn birds and spiders into vampires all day."

"You'll understand when you're older,"

"Whyd you wanna do that? Kill all those animals for nothin?"

"Ill ask in a few years then," Vanessa nodded

Malvolio grimaced and frowned a little at the question, just shrugging in response. "It won't kill 'em. It'll make 'em a vampire. You didn't care before, Viol,"

Klaus nodded a little bit.

"And when vampires die they go to the other side, all alone. Its horrible, wouldn't wish it on anyone."

"Still don't get why mommy would want something that made her sick, will I understand that when I'm older?"

"I know they're alone, dad told me when you let me say bye to him. He told me how miserable he was and then I told you. You didn't care then." Malvolio replied.

Klaus nodded. "It's all grown up stuff, complicated."

"Well I was wrong to not care, I'd never been that lonely before. I didn't get it."

"Sounds it," Vanessa scrunched her face up. "Grown ups are wierd."
