Tatia watched him, keeping her eyes on him rather than glancing to Elijah.

Caroline rolled her eyes at them. "I'm getting another drink." She walked to the bar. "Large Vodka and Tonic when you're ready barman." She sat on one of the stools as he went to get her drink and she pointedly ignored Niklaus, just playing with her hair.

"They can't exactly see anything." Elijah told her.

"You know what, I have an idea. Talk to her yourself."

"I don't want to be too tired to enjoy the night," Kaida pointed out with a small frown, "Don't want me to be too tired for tonight when I have a surprise for you, do you?" she hummed, smirking a little now as she moved her hand up the front of his shirt to rest on his chest.

"You know, it is rather offending how you and my brother are ignoring me." Klaus mused to Caroline as he compelled himself and Tatia a drink

"She won't talk to me without insulting me or patronising you. I'm only asking you a favour that'd benefit you in the long run. Don't talk to me like that, don't turn this into an argument." Falin replied bluntly, "Just came here wanting to have a few drinks with you, not my fault your sister dictates how much your allowed to drink and then storms off. I don't work here, so I'm not serving us drinks."

Tatia watched Klaus, looking a little irked that he'd started up a conversation with Caroline.

Caroline looked at him. "Oh so you expect to talk to you after what you did?" She asked him before taking a sip of her drink. "Well good luck with that."

"A surprise?" He asked her, curiously.

"I know Falin." He gently moved a hand down one side of her face. "I'm sorry, but Charlotte is just tempermental, something about you annoys her, I don't know what but I think you should find out."

"I've tried to find out before and all she's done is insulted me. I'm asking you to so you can get a decent answer out of her." Falin replied calmly, taking a step back away from him.

"Mhmm," Kaida hummed quietly, "You wont get it if you steal my blood off of me because I'll be too tired."

"Oh I wasn't expecting you to, possibly thinking that Elijah'd speak to me since we are brothers and all but," He gave a shrug before grabbing Tatia and his own drinks and heading back to Tatia, sitting down where he had been before.

Tatia gave Caroline one last glare before she returned her attention to Klaus, thanking him quietly for getting her drink.

"Don't be so childish, Tat," Klaus whispered with a small sigh, having a sip of his drink

"Then why speak to me in the first place? Because according to your family - apart from Elijah - all of you think that I'm just a stuck up barbie doll." She got her drink and walked back to Kaida and Elijah.

"And here was me thining that I would get at least a drop." He smiled. "But I can be patient, until we get back to our hotel room."

"Alright, I will try but you have to be in the room with me."

"I can be childish if I like," Tatia muttered, also taking a sip from her drink.

"Ah ah, no, wait till after the surprise," Kaida hummed with a small smirk, leaning up to kiss his cheek before picking her drink up and having a sip or two of it.

"Fine," Falin agreed unhappily.

Klaus just rolled his eyes in Caroline's direction, "All you ever done was scheme and plot with the Salvatores, try and distract me whilst you tried to kill me. I got sick of it." He grumbled before laughing quietly at Tatia, "But it lowers yourself to there standards, Tat,"

Tatia just sighed.

"And you've never been the kind of low standards." Klaus added, "You're too good for low standards."

"You think too highly of me, I'm afraid."

"Did it ever cross your mind that I actually loved you?" She muttered as she downed her drink. "Elijah, Kaida, I will meet you back at the car." She got up, though she was a bit shaky and she grabbed her bag.

Elijah looked at her. "Are you sure you're actually going to make it to the car?" He looked at Kaida . "Ever the tease."

"I'll be fine, just have some drinks with your girlfriend." She walked to the door, keeping her head high as she walked past Tatia and Klaus.

He kissed her forehead.

"As I said, you schemed with the Salvatore's to lure me to my own death countless times, kill my hybrids, the list goes on. You need a rain check on what 'love' is." Klaus called after Caroline before glancing to Tatia and shaking his head in the negative, "I don't believe I do, it's you that needs to think more highly of yourself."

Kaida watched Caroline go with a frown, muttering, "Surprised your not going to have a go at your brother for making her walk out like that."

Falin sighed.

"Not it's you who needs to know what 'love' is." She told him as she passed, and she slipped a piece of paper onto his lap in a way that Tatia wouldn't notice.

"To be honest I wasn't even listening to them."

Damon kissed her forehead, then her lips.

"I failed in pretty much all aspects of my life, it's hard for me to think highly of myself." Tatia replied, after tensing her hand on her glass after what Caroline said. "I failed as a mother - by not being around to raise my child, as a wife - by falling in love with you, and I failed in the same way as a daughter, by falling for you I was going against my parents wishes; as your girlfriend - for not standing up to my parents and getting rid of the man I was with and being with you. I am the epitome of failure."

"You've always done you're best, always had good intentions." Klaus replied with a small shrug, "It wasn't your fault you were killed - turned - and stuck in a coffin until a decade ago. You aren't a failure." He assured, opening the note Caroline had given him and reading it.

"I wasn't either but if she walked out like that he must of done something."

Falin pulled away, muttering a quiet, "Lets get this over with so we can get drunk afterwards."

Tatia just shook her head at what he said, "I failed in my last life, I just hope I can make it better this time round."

"You will be able to." Klaus assured softly.

The note read:

KLAUS

WE NEED TO TALK AND CLEAR THE AIR. CALL ME TONIGHT AND I WILL COME AND MEET YOU BACK HERE IF YOU WANT. MY NUMBER IS: 09876543234. SEE YOU AROUND MAYBE

"Sounds like a plan."

"Yeah, but to be honest I really can't be bothered."

"Not completely. I'm never going to get another chance at being a daughter, or a mother again. Two wrongs I'll never be able to put right."

Falin motioned for him to lead the way, "Your doing the talking, remember, so you lead the way."

Klaus rolled his eyes at the note and shoved it into his pocket, frowning a bit at Tatia's words and replying, "Just move on from them and be thankful you've got chances at making the other things right."

"I've been trying to do that for the last ten years, it's a hard thing to do." Tatia replied, frowning when he rolled his eyes, "What're you rolling your eyes at?"
