Astrid jumped up onto a branch a little bit higher and continued what she was doing, "I would suggest playing a real childish thing like tag but that wouldn't be fair because you're a vampire. Hide and seek ma- actual I have a better idea." she mused, pausing when they got to a tree at the edge of the falls. Glancing over her shoulder at him before closing her eyes and from the tree diving into the water below.

Kaida motioned for him to lead the way.

He headed down to the lake with her, Damon and Falin.

Kaida and Falin walked silently.

When they got to the lake, Damon called Charlotte and put her on speaker.

Charlotte picked up her phone and she also put it on speaker. "What Damon?"

"Come to the lake." Damon told her simply.

"And if I say no?" She asked smoothly.

Falin listened quietly.

"I'll personally drag you here."

"Fine, hold on." She left the phone where it was and went to find Jeremy.

Search my credit card, you'll find me then. And were not anymore Mal. We haven't been for about a year.

"What the hell Astrid?!" Kol shouted, diving down straight after her.

You said the other week we were one, I've only not been around because you've never suggested doing anything. It's not like I ever stayed out anywhere over night, it's not like you've ever suggested anything. He text back, sighing deeply to himself and adding, I'll find you soon, Viol. Sorry I haven't been spending much time with you anymore.

"Damon just called, he wanted to know if we are able to go to the lake with him, Falin, aida and Eliah."

Jeremy gave a nod, "Yeah, I guess we could."

"I'll text Alarick to tell him where we've gone." She walked to him and hugged him. "Are you ok?"

Jeremy hugged her back and nodded, "Fine, why?"

"It was stupid, you couldve hit rocks or something at the bottom!" Kol hissed as he swam towards the side.

Sage frowned deeply and shook her head in the negative, reaching up to rest her hand on the side of his face. "No, Finn. She was being selfish and stupid. Me and you were responsible for Vanessa, she shouldn't of vervained you and took her. She shouldn't of vervained you at all. You always have their best intentions in mind, Violet's just wild, maybe it'd be good for her to move out. It'd give you a break and then she could do whatever she wanted. You're only looking out for her, for the both of them."

Malvolio rolled his eyes at the text and after only five minutes entered the hotel Violet was staying in.

"Just thought that I'd ask." She looked up at him. "I love you so much you know."

"Then can I have a kiss to prove it before I go and get changed?"

"And who's fault is it shes like this? If I'd have stuck around when they were kids she wouldn't hate me so much, she wouldn't feel the need to act out… Noe if anything happens to Vanessa I'll be responsible for it."

Malvolio entered the room a few moments later and walked to the bed, sitting cross-legged and poking his sisters side, "Wakey wakey Viol!"

"You only would of disagreed with it though!" Astrid frowned, swimming to him and resting her chin on his shoulder from behind, whispering, "Don't worry, Kol, I'm fine. Sorry if I gave you a mini heart attack."

Klaus frowned when she stopped kissing him, letting out a small sigh and brushing her fingers through his hair.

Sage just shook her head in the negative, pressing her forehead against his and brushing her fingers through his hair soothingly, keeping eye contact with him as she spoke, "You were daggered for most of the time, and before that it wasn't your fault either." she replied, sighing softly at what he said about Vanessa, "It's be mine, too. Violet vervained you, you done your best. Klaus and Tatia wouldn't blame you."

"I'd blame myself for letting anything happen whilst she was in my care."

Violet grumbled something and pulled a pillow over her head

"Not literally, silly," She replied with a roll of the eyes, "Metaphorical heart-attack and you are not dead. You're undead. There is a difference."

"Violet, get up. I was followed." Malvolio told her bluntly.

"I know you would," Sage sighed softly, "But she'll be fine, okay? They're on their way back. Try not to worry."

Violet bolted upright and backhanded Malvolio straight across the face before getting up from the bed and hissing at him. "This is why I said to go home you idiot!"

"Nothing's ever that simple though is it? They'll come back and I'm sure Niklaus would rather die than entrust me with Vanessa again. I've surely lost whatever kind of relationship I had with him."

"Dead people can't have a heart attack, I can't have a heart attack. Not that much difference."
