"You don't sound like you'd be too bothered if it was Cedrick."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"I'm gonna be bothered, but I can't control it, can I? He's manic, mostly suicidal and completely crazy. I couldn't stop him even if I wanted to, he derailed years ago. Nothing I can do about it." Cassius rubbed the back of his neck and shrugged, looking to the side. Despite his neutral words, he didn't look too happy with the thought of it.

"Try and change his way of thinking?"

[Fruit-Pastilles]

Cassius just gestured to Cedrick who glowered at him in return.

"You both remind me of five year olds."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"Oh, no. Cedrick is much worse, believe me. At the very least, I have leeway; I can deal with other opinions. Cedrick? Stubborn."

Cedrick moved to sit on the edge of Cassius' bed, rolling his eyes.

[Phoenix]

"I'm sure he'd say the same about you, being worse, that is."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"It depends on the day. Cas has his bad days, I have my bad days..." Cedrick shrugged, clasping his hands together tightly. "We're both as stubborn as each other though."

[Phoenix]

"So I've bloody noticed."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"I call it personality," Cassius declared, rummaging through his pockets absently before asking, "Got any gum?"

[Phoenix]

"Not on me, there might be some in the cupboards in the kitchen. Why are you so obsessed with it?"

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"It's a nervous tic. I chew gum or I chew my fingers, my clothes, other things. I just need to. Makes me feel better. Gonna go get some anyway. Want anything from that direction?"

[Phoenix]

"Nope, I'm good."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"Cedrick? Anything from the kitchen?"

"Biggest cup of coffee you can get me. No sugar, but milk."

"Of course. Coffee," Cassius muttered something to himself as he walked towards the door, raising an eyebrow at the mangled state of the handle and lock Cedrick had caused.

[Phoenix]

"I'd have thought you'd have wanted something stronger."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"Just coffee. Alcohol doesn't do a thing unless laced."

[Phoenix]

"Well you must be fun at parties."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"Well, the angry moody violent one isn't normally invited to parties where he might break someone's face because of the crowd. I also tend to eat all the sweet stuff first and leave none for anyone else."

[Phoenix]

"Well don't you sound like a bucket of fun, remind me to warn you to stay in your room if I ever throw a party here."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"I'll do one better and leave the building days in advance."

[Phoenix]

"Aren't you the least bit more sociable when you're drunk?"

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"Angry, depressive and talkative. That's what happens."

[Phoenix]

"Well at least you're talkative."

[Fruit-Pastilles]

"I'm rude while at it though."

[Phoenix]

"S'not like anyone will remember it if they're also drunk."
