Caleb tangled his fingers in her hair lightly resting his head on hers.

"She's going to kill me, she's going to kill me…" Mia whined quietly in Caleb's ear.

Vanessa hissed and dragged Mia away. "You are firing into the monster you feared mum would! You remember how you stayed up at night terrified that mum would keep your baby and take her away from you?! Well that's what you're doing to holly you selfish bitch!"

"Leave me alone! I haven't done anything yet! I haven't done anything!" Mia yelled, struggling to get away from her sister. "She wanted to know what was wrong so I told her, Ness! That's al I done! I told her how I was feeling!"

"Enough!" Caleb growled grabbing Mia and pulling her back towards him. "The baby is theirs Mia and I talked about this. Now either sit and talk like an adult or you can get out."

"I can kill you with my bare hands so don't you get involved in this." Vanessa snapped at Caleb before turning to Mia. "If you make one move, or let on any hint that you're going to take the baby from my daughter I will put you six feet under in a wooden box!"

"Threaten me all you like but don't you dare threaten Caleb, Vanessa!" Mia hissed then, slapping her across the face. "He's done fuck all other than try and defuse the situation so don't you dare threaten him."

"Mia!" He snapped pulling her back to him. "It's fine, I can handle myself."

Vanessa hissed when she was slapped, grabbing Mia and snapping her neck before heading out.

Mia fell to the ground instantly, limp.

Caleb caught her before she hit the floor growling lowly as he carried her to the couch laying her there.

Vanessa stormed home, banging the door shut when she got in and moving to go to the kitchen to grab a drink.

Leon instantly caught her around the waist and pulled her against him, kissing her cheek and whispering, "Easy, butterfly. Calm down. What happened?"

After about twenty minutes, Mia muttered something incoherent as she came around.

Caleb sat down on the floor with his back to the couch taking one of Mia's hands and turning to look at her. "Mia?"

Evelynn had walked in just moments before quickly taking things in. "What's happened? Mom?"

Mia just mumbled something incoherent with a groan, rolling onto her side and pressing her forehead to Caleb's hand.

"I didn't kill her. Don't worry."

He sighed softly smoothing her hair off her face. "Just rest"

Evelynn frowned deeply when she didn't get an answer.

"I'm not worried, I just want to know what happened, butterfly. You just need to calm down."

"No, no…. I'm okay." Mia mumbled, "My neck just hurts, that's all."

Vanessa shook her head, clutching her glass so tightly it shattered within her hands.

Leon frowned, "What happened?" he asked again, pulling the glass from her hand.

Caleb sighed softly gently rubbing her neck for her.

Evelynn sat down on the floor. "What's happened?"

"I cant let her take Holly's baby."

"Your Aunt Vanessa happened," She mumbled, closing her eyes at Caleb's touch.

"She admitted to wanting Holly's baby. I snapped her neck and threatened her."
