Tatia clung onto Klaus, moving herself up into a sitting position and leaning onto him heavily to stay upright. She placed her hand over his lightly, hands trembling as she heard him speak. "Come on," she whispered. "Please, we can't loose you too, mommy and daddy really want to meet you baby."

The heartbeat was still slowing, and was completely inaudible when Tatia spoke. "Nik, I need blood to flush the vervain out of my system." she whispered as she loosened her grip on him. "There should be a couple of okay bloodbags left downstairs."

Tatia wasted no time, simply murmuring a thanks to Klaus before her face vamped out and she bit into the humans neck, pushing it's head aside with her hands as she drained it.

The heartbeat was still faint, but wasn't getting any slower. Within minutes of Tatia finishing the human and throwing it to the floor, laying back down on the bed - still not completely recovered - the heartbeat started picking up slowly.
