"He is a bit of a coward," Falin admitted quietly, "We fell out a while back because his sister was always horrible to me for no reason, to the point she was trying to kill me and he just let her. Said he wasn't going to choose between us."

"I can tell you like it," Astrid replied, shaking her head and messing his hair up gently.

"Mm,"

"You could really do better then." Vanessa nodded. "S'not like you're ugly or anything, so you could probably pick someone better up like that," she snapped her fingers to prove her point.

"I do, its funny seeing you get worked up about it."

"You okay Nik?"

Falin laughed and just shook her head in disbelief. "Maybe, but I wouldn't love them."

Astrid frowned at him then, "You're charming," she replied sarcastically. "Such a caring boyfriend I have,"

Klaus nodded, "Of course,"

"If you think you can do better then please," he gestured to the door. "Go ahead, but we both know you'll come crawling back."

"You shouldn't love Damon, not if he's like that with you. You could get over him."

Tatia gave his hand a gentle squeeze. "If you're sure," she whispered.

"I probably would be able to, but I don't want to end it with him. He has his moments of selflessness and I love him." Falin replied.

Astrid just rolled her eyes at him then, replying with a quiet laugh, "I wouldn't leave you over something so silly as you being a tease, pretty boy,"

"I am." Klaus nodded.

"Is it worth taking all his crap for the rest of the time though?"

"Maybe I wouldn't let you leave."

Tatia smiled a little, before looking down at the baby. "She's so small,"

Astrid laughed a bit, and just kissed his cheek genty. Whispering, "You're rather sweet, you know, Kol,"

"Mm," Klaus hummed in agreement, "I'm going to phone Finn. Warm him that he might come home to a grumpy Malvolio depending on if I can be bothered to help this girlfriend of his or not." before getting to his feet and leaving the room. Phoning his brother.

"If it ever doesn't become worth it, I'll get shot of him. Don't worry."

"Good job you brought your toothbrush then," he hummed as he pressed his lips to hers.

Tatia nodded, watching him leave.

"This better be important Niklaus, I'm on holiday," Finn answered tersley.

"I know you are," Klaus replied, before telling him, "You're son and his friend need to learn not to go out and play with wolves. Depending on how well behaved this baby is, and how Vanessa adjests if you come home to your son without his emotions it's because I've let his girlfriend die. I suggest you lecture him about not going outside when it's a full moon because I think he's forgotten."

Falin nodded, muttering a quiet, "Thanks kid,"

"Mm," Astrid hummed in agreement, laughing gently.

Finn sighed deeply, "I'll tell Violet to deliver the message as soon as she can, he'll take it better from her."

"Don't tell anyone though, I need my reputation to hold up." He grinned.

"See, m'not so bad a friend."

"He needs to learn not to snap his fingers and expect me to help. I'd have no choice to if it were him, but his girlfriend isn't my responsibility to help."

"I haven't met enough people to know what exactly your reputation is," Astrid replied then, tracing her fingertips along his jawline gently.

"I never said you wouldn't be,"

"Will you be helping her or not? Because if not then Violet will probably rub it in." Finn groaned.

"M'not supposed to be sweet," he told her, "M'not supposed to be that whipped I move out with my girlfriend,"

"Bet you thought it though, or at least thought I was going to be someone you didn't want to see again,"

"It depends on what this baby acts like tonight, how Vanessa adjusts to it, how much sleep I get. I suggest you don't send Violet, in case I don't save her."

" 'Whipped' is such a horrible wording." Astrid grimaced a little bit, before asking, "What else are you 'suppose' to be like?"

"Can't deny it." Falin admitted before asking her, "Would you like to go outside and do something? I'm bored and I bet you are too."

"Well there you go, you were wrong. I'm amazing." Vanessa grinned.

"I thought Tatia wasn't due for another few days?" Finn asked curiously. "If you don't want Violet doing it then it'll have to wait a week or so until we get back."

"A lot more controlling than I am now, and when people learn about you being human thy'll expect me to be feeding off of you."

"So if I ever meet someone who doesn't know you properly then I'm your walking bloodbag and probably compelled?" She asked, adding, "Cause I probably will meet someone who only knows you by your reputation soon and you clearly don't want to damage that reputation."

"He's your son, you choose who lectures him. I don't really care as long as it's done." Klaus replied before answering, "She had her early, an hour or two ago now."

Falin shook her head.

Kol shook his head, "They don't get to know anything about you, at all. Ill introduce you as my girlfriend and that's it,"

"And you're my only chance of getting this hybrid thing right..." Vanessa whispered. "Help me turn? If I turn then I'll be a proper hybrid and I'll be special to my mommy and daddy again."

"Ill see if I can convince Violet to be respectable, if not then I'll have a word when we het back." Finn then added. "I hope everythings okay with the baby, what did she have, do you have a name?"

"Kay," She replied, leaning up to press her lips to his gently.

"You don't want to turn, Vanessa." Falin frowned at her, "It isn't enjoyable.. And why wouldn't you be special to them?"

"It's a girl," Klaus replied, "Everything's fine so far, we haven't got a name for her yet."

"Because now they have a new baby that'll be just like me, but if I turn I'll be different and special again..."

"Ah well, congratulations then." Finn said happily. "Ill have a word with Violet and send her over to talk to Mal to warn him."

"We have unpacking to do Astrid." Kol reminded her gently.

"Okay, good luck with your family drama. Brace yourself for a grumpy son when you come home, depending on if I save his girlfriend or not." He replied before hanging up and heading back into the hospital room.

"It won't be just like you," She frowned, "It'll be a different person, have a different personality to you. It won't have your knowledge, or strength or experience. You'll still be very special. Irreplaceable to your parents, I'm sure. If you shift, all it would achieve is worrying them and putting yourself through agony."

"We also have kissing to do, lots of it." Astrid hummed.

"Maybe later.." Kol hummed as he pulled away.

Tatia had just finished dressing the baby with clothes that were from the bag they'd packed. She wrapped her in a blanked and looked up at Klaus with a small frown. "All of the clothes are too big," she whispered.

"Well if they're worrying about me then it'll at least show they care." Vanessa deadpanned.

"It's laughable you think that they don't care. I bet they give you almost everything you ask for, I bet they tuck you in every night, make sure the monsters aren't in your room, cook you food every day, hug you when you're upset, bring you to school. They do all that, don't they?"

"Lets go home. Maybe she can use some of Nessa's old clothes until we can buy we some of her own."

Astrid just sighed softly, unhappily, before going back to unpacking.

Tatia nodded, gently shifting the baby to lay in the plastic crib at the side of her bed, she then swung her legs over the side of the bed and started getting changed, wincing a little due to the fact she was still a little sore.

"They do that because they have to, but they won't do it once this baby gets here."

"Faster we unpack, the faster you can have your way with me..." Kol grinned.

Klaus just walked to the crib and brushed his fingers over the top of her head, suggesting to Tatia, "Maybe Vanessa can decide on her middle name, so she's involved."

"No, they do all that because they love you, Vanessa. And I bet this baby won't change that they love you. If you ever think they don't though, and they're being nasty or not looking after you, you can find me okay? You can stay with me until they realise there mistakes." she offered.

Astrid laughed a little it at that.

Tatia nodded, "That's a great idea," she mused as she shrugged her jacket on.

Vanessa smiled and nodded, moving to wrap her arms around Falins waist in a grateful hug.

Kol finished unpacking one of the cases and shoved it under the bed.

Falin hugged her back gently, though didnt seem to happy. Knowing if her offer was ever taken up she'd probably get in trouble.

Astrid shoved the second case under the bed too, finishing a few moments after him.

"I'm dreading how Vanessa is going to adjust to this." Klaus sighed.
