"I heard you talking! I know you didn't want me to go with you," Vanessa glared at Tatia, "I don't see why you're defending her!" She turned to Klaus. "It's her fault this all happened, if I hadn't been left, then they wouldn't have teased me and I wouldn't have had to prove a point my snapping Kol's neck." she then glanced back to Tatia as she slid off of the side, "I'll do the same to you if you don't let me go out..." she threatened.

"Vanessa, I understand that you're angry, but you need to understand -" Tatia started softly, trying to reason with her daughter, but was cut off when Vanessa made a low growling noise and bent her knee's a little, getting ready to crouch and spring at her mother.

"Vanessa!" Klaus snapped again, picking his daughter up, "You carry on like this and you'll be grounded. That means I'll take your paints away and you won't be aloud out for a week."

Vanessa narrowed her eyes at him before wrapping her arms around his neck and tugging, trying to break it.

Klaus quickly moved his hand up to grab Vanessa's arm and wrench it away, but wasnt fast enough and dropped to the ground as she broke his neck.

"Vanessa!" Tatia hissed as Vanessa scrambled up off of the floor, having gone down with Klaus. "How dare you! Go to your room right now!" she demanded, and Vanessa, whom was staring wide eyed at her father, not having believed she could snap his neck, simply nodded and walked up to her room. Tatia, using her vampiric strength, picked Klaus up and placed him on the sofa in the living room, tilting his neck at an angle so it'd heal fast before taking hold of his hand and sitting beside him, being too wary to go confront Vanessa on her own after what she'd just done to Klaus.

When Klaus came around about 45 minutes, or an hour later he blinked his eyes open and muttered a quiet, "Three weeks without her paints."

Tatia exhaled in relief when he came around, pulling him into a tight hug as she nuzzled her face into his neck.

Klaus sat himself up a little bit and hugged her back without a word.

"I don't know why but I was so worried you weren't going to come round, you took longer than usual and I thought maybe something had gone wrong with your healing," Tatia said quickly, bordering on rambling as she spoke.

"Don't be silly," Klaus grumbled quietly, brushing his fingers through her hair and kissing her forehead before getting to his feet and heading up the stairs to Vanessa's room.

Vanessa was sat quietly on her bed, watching her television with glazed over eyes, like she wasn't really concentrating.

"Three weeks without paints, Vanessa, and that's being much nicer then I should be." Klaus told her, sitting himself down beside her on the bed and lifting her onto his lap.

Vanessa just nodded, casting her gaze downwards in an unspoken refusal to look at him.

"I should be the one giving you the silent treatment, Ness." Klaus sighed, smoothing her hair down and asking her quietly, "Do you understand why you're grounded, Ness?"

Vanessa simply nodded, a guilty expression on her face.

(( Okay. Sorry I poofed before, my mum dragged me out to buy a new t.v >.< Even though it's as late as it is.))

"Going to give me a hug?" He encouraged gently.

Vanessa wrapped her arms around him gently. "M'sorry, I just got mad..." she mumbled

((my mums friend has come over with her little girl so I've been playing hairdressers a night xD so it's okay))

Klaus hugged her back gently, "I know," he whispered. "Think you need to apologise to your mother, too, if you haven't already. It wasnt very nice blaming her like you did."

"It is mommas fault, wanting to go look for stupid baby stuff." Vanessa grumbled. "M'not apologising."

"I'm the one that suggested looking for baby things, Ness," Klaus told her before just sighing and getting to his feet. Grabbing Vanessa's paints, brushed etc. before leaving the room without another word.

Vanessa scowled as she watched him go, grabbing a teddy from the side to throw at him angrily. "I hate you both!" she shouted.

Klaus just sighed, closing the door behind himself and heading down the stairs. Entering the livingroom and glancing to Tatia.

Tatia was blankly watching the tv, resting her head on her hand as her elbow was on the side of the couch, the other arm curled around her stomach as she briefly closed her eyes, barely even noticing Klaus come in.

Klaus sat himself down beside her quietly and wrapped his arms around her waist gently.

Tatia made a soft noise in complaint before realizing it was Klaus, then she simply leaned back into him and rested her head against his chest as she let her eyes close fully.
