"Did you want to rest immediately or do something? I won't be available for a few hours." Death kept a gentle hold of her hand.

"Just paddling today, or you wanna see if you can swim bud?"

Aria tried to smile but simply ducked her head and watched the floor.

"You're welcome. I'm going to put cleaner clothes on. See you later?"

"I hate waiting. I don't even know if he's going to show up or...should I leave? Cause he'll look here first and if he doesn't find me then..." Faye ended up mumbling as she tried to think of what to do.

Faye stopped pacing. "Just scared."

Kai smiled before walking to the bedroom.

"Nervous of him. But he's gone now." Aria tugged at her shirt. "I-I slept in these, so I'm going to change..."

"Whatever you feel comfortable to do."

Death nodded. "You have your walk of the house." He touched the edge of the bracelet. "I'll be back shortly."

She smiled as she watched him go.

Death was silent for a moment before murmuring, "Faye seems to be unable to follow simply set rules."

Ian gently set him on the floor by the stream when they arrived.

Aria moved to look in the wardrobe.

Kai hummed cheerfully as he came out in new clothes, calling out his goodbyes as he left the house.

Faye moved to settle on the edge of the seat next to him.

She sighed. "So much for resting."

He ran straight into the water.

He watched her.

She called a goodbye back.

He played her song for her since he was usually able to help her relax with that.

"I said I would be busy for upwards of an hour or so. I want to rest, as much as I am able to want, but it never stops so neither can I. Telling her of her faults won't take more than a few minutes."

Ian sat on the grass of the bank, watching him.

Aria nudged her jeans off and tugged her shirt over her head before pulling on a skirt and matching top, smoothing them out almost nervously.

Faye leaned against his side, her hand reaching across so she could hold gently onto his shirt.

Ian watched him with a small smile.

Aria blushed, shuffling on the floor as she mumbled a thanks.

Faye smiled weakly at him.

She watched him go, before she walked to Deaths room.

Hayden waved at his dad.

Aria smoothed her skirt out before moving to sit on the edge of the bed.

Faye's smile suddenly and abruptly dropped as she stared at something past the piano.

Aria leaned against him gently, reaching one hand across to hold onto him. "I love you too..."

Faye leaned down to hug him around the shoulders, kissing his cheek. Her arms were faintly trembling. In response to his words she only smiled weakly, stepped back and disappeared.

"Haven't got anything to go in the water with buddy." Ian stood and walked down the bank towards him anyway.

Aria nodded quietly, resting her head on his shoulder. "Jess and...they've gone now, am I right?"

Hayden pouted.

"Should I make Lucy breakfast, or let her sleep in...?"

Faye came back after about forty minutes, pale and trembling. Her entire front was stained red with blood from the gaping wound in her throat. Death wasn't allowing her to heal.

Ian pulled his shoes and socks off, rolling his jeans up. "I can paddle with you, if you want." He reached a hand in and splashed him.

Death returned shortly after dealing with Faye, walking to his bedroom as he quietly rubbed at his hands with a handkerchief.

Jess was still awake, though she looked on the verge of sleep, having taken deaths shirt and boxers to sleep in.

Disco was back in hers and Fayes room.

He laughed and splashed him back.

"Let get sleep in."

Death entered the bedroom completely silently before walking towards the en suite bathroom.

Faye stumbled slowly out of the piano room and all but crashed into the bathroom, grabbing a towel to shakily press against the wound as she hunted for a first aid kit.

Ian chuckled, sitting on the edge with his feet in the water as he splashed back again.

Aria nodded quietly. "Is there anything you would like to do while waiting for her to wake up?"

Sirius handed her it. "Do I even have to ask Faye?"

Jess stirred slightly.

Hayden kept splashing him.

"Not sure, what about you?"

Faye tried to speak and just ended up gurgling instead, fumbling with blood slick fingers to find a needle and stitching thread.

Death came out after a few minutes, his suit jacket over his arm and his shirt sleeves rolled to the elbow, since he had washed his forearms and hands. After hanging the jacket, he moved to gently perch on the edge of the bed, smoothing Jess' hair gently from her face.

Ian eventually and suddenly leaned forward to scoop Hayden out of the water, holding him above his head as he grinned up at him.

"I-I don't want to go o-outside today. Not after what was said by the w-woman Jess brought over." Aria ducked her head, staring at her lap.

Sirius stitched her wound up.

She stirred. "What took you so long?" She murmered.

Hayden giggled.

"Ok."

Faye forced herself to relax, staring at the wall past him as he helped her.

"Other work to do," Death quietly responded, leaning to kiss her forehead before he walked to the wardrobe to hang his jacket.

Ian moved to very gently toss Hayden in the water where it was deep enough not for him to get hurt, and shallow enough for him to be comfortable in.

"You can go with Lucy if she wants to go out. I don't mind staying in by myself if she decides that."

When she was fully stitched he looked at her.

He resurfaced laughing.

"I'll ask Penelope to babysit her one night."
