A few days later, Snow was lying in the forest in front of a burnt out fire.

After a few moments, Snow would have felt what was like a distant tug, Delilah obviously having found Blaze to snap the stone.

Snow followed.

Delilah was sat in a field of ash next to Blaze, who was simply sat with his knees to his chest, trembling violently.

Snow got there a few minutes later.

"How many, Delilah?"

"Not if you're going to beat you - "

"How many?"

"Two hundred and seventy three dead. Eighty two injured."

Blaze exhaled shakily, holding himself tighter.

Snow shifted human as she got to them.

"Buck up, Snow's here to see you," Delilah murmured. "She - " She was sent sprawling into the ash as Blaze backhanded her hard enough for her to dribble blood.

Snow stayed at a distance.

"I brought her because she wanted to see you, you didn't have to break my damn face for it."

"It'll only bruise."

Snow watched them staying her safe distance away.

"I thought you woulda wanted to see her."

"Not when I'm like this," Blaze hissed back. "Not when I have blood all over my fucking hands."

"You look fine to me." Snow told him. "Anyway, I've seen worse."

Blaze hunched, as if hit. "It doesn't stop me feeling ashamed."

She gently walked to sit infront of him.

Blaze stared silently at his knees.

She made him look at her.

"Snow, please." Blazes voice was ragged and he closed his eyes.

"Please what?"

"I don't particularly want you to see me like this."

"You know that I don't care what you're like Blaze."
