"You wanna hear the bad things? Fine. I feel like I don't have my family anymore because of her - because of Matteo - even though it's not either of their faults. I feel immensely guilty about Matteo dying because I thought it'd be a good idea for Cameron and him to try and get along, Trin cries most nights because of it, Matteo not being around which kind of bugs me because it's been a while now but I still understand. Oh and lets not forget to add we saw Mia and that idiot that used to hurt Trin that she's with the other day and Trin's uncle is in the area giving them all a hard time which means he'll turn up to Trin soon and most likely hurt her.  The bad things are just normal, the good things aren't, that's why I only tell you the good things because they're rare. You don't want to her about the bad c**p."

((There's builders doing work on the street behind my house, and they always have music on whenever they work, and it really irritates me because they sing along with it but they always get the words wrong >.< Plus I'm tired of hearing Shania Twain -_-))

"Well Henrik's not going to feel any better any time soon is he?" Tatia sighed, "We killed his girlfriend..."

"You know normal people would get the hint when their family doesn't like the person they're with, when they lose all contact because of it. You talk about feeling isolated, well you've isolated yourself." Violet said, finishing her drink before getting up. "I'll tell dad I've spoken to you, but I don't he'll acknowledge me, I get the cold shoulder just as much as you do. But there's no point in me staying Malvolio, there's nothing either of us gain by my staying here." she added, before walking out.

"Of course he isn't, but eventually he'll realise it was for the best." Klaus replied with a small shrug.

Malvolio just let out a deep sigh and downed the last of his drink before getting to his feet and leaving aswell, heading back towards his home.

"Maybe we were too rash, maybe we should've just compelled her..."

"I tried to compel so we could bring her back and apologise to Henrik, so we could make her suffer long-term, she was on vervain."

"We could have waited it out, maybe. Made her forget everything about us..."

He shook his head, "She needed to be dead, Tat. She hurt you, she hurt him. Now she can't hurt any of us, doesn't have the chance to."

"Hmm," Tatia hummed doubtfully, kissing the top of Klaus' head. "I'm off up to bed, I'm tired. You'll be okay putting Lucas in his crib, right?"

Klaus nodded.

"I'll see you later when you come up then." Tatia told him before heading upstairs and getting into bed.

Klaus nodded and watched her go, a while later he had tucked Lucas in and slid in beside her for sleep.

Tatia was already fast asleep, having being since she first got into bed.

Within a few seconds, Klaus fell asleep too. 

Henrik remained in his room for a while longer, just to make sure everyone was asleep before jumping out of the window and heading out of the window and towards the hotel.

Dakota was still in the room, sat at the desk and writing out a letter. There was already another letter at her side, and it was clear that she was writing both to her father.

Henrik entered the hotel room almost silently and closed the door behind himself. Sitting down beside her and whispering, "Hey,"

"Hi," Dakota returned, leaning back against him. "I've written one for each choice I could make." she explained quietly as she sealed the second letter. "One of them explains the truth, that someone turned me, and that I chose to not transition. The other one, tells him I was attacked at home and barely escaped. I've gone to go find my brothers and live with them, give up hunting. He doesn't have contact with them, so he wont be able to double check and make sure I'm not lying. That's if I decide to transition... Both of them explain that I've found my Aunt Beth somewhere in Alaska where she hunts werewolves, I've given him her address so he can go be with her, so he wont have to be alone..."

Henrik just gave a small nod and ducked his head to kiss the top of hers gently, "I hate my parents at the minute… so, so much.   They said it was for the best you died, as if they knew you. I know what my mum arguing with Hope does to her emotionally, and I know it probably isn't good that I'm arguing with her now on top of it but… it's the principal, right? Dad never had to kill you.…"

Malvolio sat himself down beside her, sliding an arm around her waist quietly.  "Before you ask, it started off brilliantly but then went completely downhill."

"What's done is done. There's no use dwelling on it now, don't be harsh to you mother. She's just looki ou for you like mine would if she were still here."

"I have a right to be angry at them, I'm going to be. Not going to hide it, force myself to get over it before I'm ready, that'd just make me bitter deep down and I wouldn't want that." Henrik whispered, lifting his hand up so brush his fingers through her hair.

Dakota just nodded, "You make it sound like your mother isn't emotionally stable, I wouldn't want her getting worse because of me…"

"No one in my family is emotionally stable," Henrik replied with a shrug. "Even the people that pretend they are, aren't."

"We don't have that in our notes about your mother though and it was her you specifically mentioned. We have your fathers and aunts outrageous tempers, Kols sadistic personality and alcoholism and Finns self loathing and depression noted down. Nothing on your mother though…" Dakota said quietly.

"Those things are stereotypes. Dad and Auntie Bekah's tempers aren't that bad, they only have short tolerances for people they don't like or they see as a threat to the family, Uncle Kol and Astrid have been together for ages now and in don't remember being there when he's ever acting particularly sadistic. Uncle Finn's depressed, yeah, but that's just because of my cousins these days, when they were getting along  and Cam was growing he was pretty happy."

"Well you were the one who said nobody was mentally stable, I was just stating the reasons we had down… what's wrong with your mother?"
