Aidan froze mid-stride at the noise and turned his head towards the door, inspecting the door handle wearily before reaching over and opening the door a little bit, poking his head inside nosely.

"Nah, he doesn't seem like someone to talk to."

Emmet stared after her before slowly eating again.

Aidan just frowned and shook his head, "May I know his or her name?" he asked gently, making quiet noises in Bloodwings direction and whispering to the bird, "I won't hurt you,"
