Caleb looked at his brother. "What does the note say?"

Marie looked over at him as well.

"You shall not be punished for we shall never be caught," She replied with a shake of her head.

"I'm sure my father thought the same."

Lilliana let out a deep sigh and glanced around briefly before walking to him and resting her hand on his cheek gently, "You fear too much, my sweet knight,"

"And you not enough, your grace."

"I suppose I have never had to fear much as you have other then silly things such as emotions when it is to do with day to day fears. I felt true fear, terror,  yesterday though. As I felt fear whilst you were away at war, whilst you were ill and dying."

Leo frowned at that.

"I admit I am naive, that my fears have been less severe in life and that I have been privileged throughout my life but it does not mean I have not felt fear. I fear loving you too because it is rather obvious you do not return it but I can not help that, I fear the day my parents die if it ever does come because I do not wish to have my current title yet alone the one that I will get, but that is something I will be forced to face. Lilliana just shook her head, "I fear there is no hope for us.… is there none…my handsome Leo?" she asked quietly, voice shaking slightly as she added, "Look me in the eye and tell me you will never love me if it is so true."

Lilliana just shook her head and lowered her gaze onto the ground, murmuring, "It is not a case of your head, your head should not have anything to do with matters of the heart."
