"I was there. Both times."

"I'm trying to point out that this was his fault and not yours."

"It still feels as if it's mine. I should not have said I would come here tonight."

"No, this is what he needs."

"The tell me what I should do Elijah because I do not know."

"Go after him, tell him that everything is going to be fine."

Laura looked at him for a long moment before she walked off to find Caleb.

Caleb was lent against a tree.

Rhaenys was sat quietly beside her brother in the grass in his gardens, watching her son play loudly with the dogs.

Laura walked over and stood beside him silently.

"Thought you'd be enjoying the dance."

"I am only here tonight because I wanted to see you."

"And you want to be with a monster?"

"You are nothing of the sort Caleb."

He raised an eyebrow.

"Think back from the day you were turned. Has this ever happened to you before?"

"Not so it got this bad."

"You can control. I know you can."

He shook his head, but didn't say anhing to indicate why.

Laura tilted her head at him expecting him to continue.
