"She hung up on me.."

"Oh Rik, why?"

"Because of you not wanting Zac here."

"Oh my gosh, I'm sorry rik."

Henrik just shrugged a little bit, mumbling, "It doesn't matter, want anything from the kitchen?"

"No, thank you." Dakota whispered.

Henrik just nodded and got to his feet, heading into the kitchen silently.

Dakota got up and followed him. "I'm really sorry Rik."

"It's fine, not your fault.."

"It is..."

"It isn't. I'd rather her be in a strop for a few days then him show up, you get worked up and for us to lose the babies... again."

Dakota nodded, placing her hands on her stomach gently when he mentioned losing them.

Henrik was silent then.

"I'm tired, I'm gonna go nap." Dakota said quietly, heading upstairs.

"Sleep well,"

"I will!" Dakota called as she went to bed.

Around an hour later the door opened and Hope stepped inside.

Henrik got to his feet and went into the hallway to see who had walked in, smiling lightly when he saw Hope. "Didn't expect to see you any time soon,"

"Twins, huh?" Hope replied quietly.

"Yeah," He nodded. "Identical."

"A first for the family then."

"Mm," Henrik hummed in confirmation to that, "We don't know if they're boys or girls though. We want it a surprise."

"Mm, thought you would."

Henrik just nodded a little bit before asking quietly, "How've you been?"

"Oh you know, dealing with family predjudice against my boyfriend."
