Tatia sighed deeply. "Why didn't you address it with her? Ask how to make her feel better?"

"I don't know what to do..."

"Every time I try and spend me and her time something has happened with everyone and I've had to call it off." Henrik mumbled.

"What you feel is best."

Tatie frowned. "None of us thought you wanted to marry her. We all thought you were putting it off because you were too scared to cancel it."

"I have to think about the girls and me splitting up with Henrik isn't the best for them..."

"But you staying with him of you'll just be miserable will be even worse for them, Dakota." Jordan pointed out.

"No I was putting it off because our family constantly screws up and I wanted it to be a time when everyone was calm and nothing would happen to drag the attention off of Kota."

"I can't leave them, can't live without them. They're my babies... I can't just up and leave them."

Tatia flinched a little when he mentioned them all screwing up. "I'm sorry Rik... But its very rare we get calm moments in the family."

"Take them with you then," Jordan whispered. "They need you, their mother, more than they need him. Especially the babies."

"Right now is okay but now she doesn't want to fucking marry me anymore!"

"I can't do that to him, I can't."

"I'm sorry Rik."

"You need to leave him, don't stay with him for them or to save his feelings."

Henrik just sighed deeply.

"I don't know what to do Jordan! I don't want to hurt him anymore than im going to."

Tatia frowned deeply.

Kol slept soundly then.

Henrik just nodded and hugged her gently, whispering with a sigh of relief, "Thank you, Ellie, thank you so much."

"We should go and see how Henrik is," Klaus mused after a moment.

Astrid watched him silently for a few moments before closing her eyes.

Tatia nodded.

A few months later, after their wedding, Hope was dancing ecstatically with Zacarias, resting her forehead against his as she grinned. "This is the happiest day of my life." She said to him quietly.

"She looks beautiful. Hard to believe she was our little girl at one point, mm?" Tatia whispered to Klaus.

"Can't believe she had almost every female relative as a bridesmaid," Vanessa laughed to Astrid quietly, as Hope had had all her sisters and nieces involved, even the babies of the family.

"Dada! It Mama look!" Sapphire exclaimed as she toddled over to her father, pointing over to the entrance where Dakota had just walked in, looking almost unrecognisable. In the past few months she'd let Henrik see the children as promised, though she herself had kept her distance, letting Jordan speak to Henrik at the door an such. She'd been to see a witch who'd aged her, so rather than looking like a young teenager she now looked more older, matching Henriks own age of around eighteen or nineteen. She'd had her hair styled into curls and had blonde run through it to bring out her features. She looked more confidant within herself, shown in the way she walked. She smiled softly at Henrik when she saw him, beaming gently when she saw her daughters in their bridesmaid dresses. Walking towards them slowly.

"It's the happiest day of mine to - of mine so far, I'm sure the future will bring happier ones if we are to ever have children, hm?" Zacarias hummed with a laugh. "Or days that will match it at the least."

"Don't be silly, Tat, she'll always be our little girl." Klaus replied with a quiet laugh.

Henrik lifted his gaze to Dakota and smiled brightly, greeting with a laugh when she came over, "Well hello, pretty lady, you may not know me but I'm the famous Henrik Mikaelson miraculously young and back from the dead. Fancy if I get to learn your dreams, goals and aspirations over a dance?"

Ruby smiled brightly and wandered over to her mother, reaching up to be picked up.

"Hello Henrik." Dakota whispered, obviously relieved he was speaking to her still. She picked up Ruby and held her close. "Hey baby." She greeted quietly, kissing her daughters cheek, laughing and nodding a little at Henriks suggestion.

"I know, it's hard watching them grow up. But she looks so happy; which is amazing." Tatia whispered, frowning a little in anticipation when she saw Henrik and Dakota together, not knowing how they'd interact.

"I'd love to have children with you, and I'm sure we'll feel just as happy when they're born as we do now." Hope giggled as she kissed his nose. "Love you Zacarias."

"I love you too Hope," Zacarias whispered quietly, pressing his lips to hers gently.

Klaus gave a small nod of agreement, watching Hope and Zacarias for a few moments before moving his gaze to where Tatia's was. Watching Henrik and Dakota silently.

Henrik smiled brightly and got to his feet, offering her his hand silently.

"Mummy's going to talk to daddy, I'll be back really soon." Dakota whispered as she kissed Ruby before placing her on the ground and took Henriks hand with a smile.

"He's accepting her back." Tatia observed quietly.

Hope kissed him back deeply.

"He's besotted, of course he is." Klaus replied quietly.

Henrik led her onto the dance floor in absolute silence before whispering, "You look really good, Kota… really, really good."

Zacarias knotted his fingers in her hair, wrapping one arm around her waist to bring her closer.

Dakota chuckled a little. "Thank you," she whispered, flushing a little. "I like looking this way more than I did looking like a little girl. I feel better."

"I hope he doesn't let her treat him like an idiot."

Hope grinned and tightened her hand in his hair.

"I can tell," Henrik whispered gently, "You seem a lot more comfortable, a lot more confident."

Klaus just gave a nod of agreement.

Zacarias kept the kiss as it was then.

"I feel it." Dakota smiled.

Tatia just watched intently then, shuffling a little to get comfortable.

"I can't wait for our honeymoon. It's going to be great." Hope grinned.
