Klaus just let out a deep sigh and watched her go, turning his attention onto the baby a moment later and picking her up gently.

Astrid just nodded.

Malvolio shook his head in the negative, "No, but I assume Diesel's."

The baby snuggled down into his arms, seeking warmth as she was cold despite the fire.

"Let's go then." Kol said as he grabbed his keys and headed out.

The baby opened her eyes, them being the golden colour of hybrids eyes as her human colour hadn't had time to develop. She cooed quietly at Klaus and reached a gloved hand onwards him before starting into a coughing fit.

Kol got into the car, driving off when Astrid was in.

"Ah, baby," Klaus whispered with a sigh, patting her back gently to try and soothe her coughs.

Astrid leant her head back to watch the top of the car.

The baby soothed a little, coughs still rattling in her chest.

"I'm not in a mood," Astrid denied with a shake of her head, "I poked myself in the eye with mascara several times so I gave up and now it's annoying me."

Klaus rubbed her back gently then, kissing the side of the baby's head gently.

The baby smiled a little at the kiss, moving her hand to lean against his nose.

"See, you haven't broken her. You made her smile for the first time." Tatia whispered as she handed him a bottle. "And finally open her eyes. All that with just a hug from you."

"Mm," Klaus hummed quietly, taking the bottle off of her and feeding the baby.

"I love you too," Malvolio whispered.

Tatia sighed when the baby rejected the bottle. "You gotta drink something baby. You need blood. It'll make you feel better." She coaxed gently.

"Don't want makeup near my face."

"Come on," Klaus encouraged gently with a small frown.

"Then you might be able to use the eyeliner pencil to sign the divorce papers."

Tatia watched before disappearing for a few minutes and handing Klaus a bottle of milk. "Try that. It's better than nothing."

Kol pulled over when they got to the restaurant.

The baby drank from that hungrily.

((Uh tired mostly haha, really tired since I've had to start getting up at 6 again after two weeks of not getting up before 10 :/ ))
