"I'm sorry." Adam whispered as he hit the wall again. "I fucked up and I'm sorry!"

The nurse rushed over to check Tatia, grimacing as she checked her over. She quietly hooked her back up to the machines and after screening the baby she headed out and came back in with another doctor that started to pot her arm up.

Astrid ducked under his arms so she was in front of him, just sliding her arms around him in a hug and whispering, "It's okay, it's okay. Just try and calm down, you'll hurt yourself."

Klaus watched with a frown.

"I'm sorry." Adam whispered as he trembled.

"She uh, fainted afterwards, so.." He shrugged in response to that, "I assume sedative, I don't know."

"It's okay," Astrid whispered, "It's okay, don't worry."

The nurse quietly took a blood sample and headed out to send it off.

The doctor finished up putting the pot on Tatias arm, settling her into the bed and double checking the meds before leaving.

Klaus sat himself down beside Tatia and gently pulled her so she was sat up a little bit and he could just hold her close, as he did before.

Astrid was silent then.

Tatia awoke a few hours later. "She chooses." She whispered. "Astrid chooses between us. Make her choose me or him." She mumbled, slurring a little.

"It's not your fault," Astrid whispered quietly, "Don't worry... You do your best."

"She chooses. Me or him." Tatia repeated.

"It's not good enough".

"It's better than nothing, it's enough." Astrid assured gently, "Lets go home now, okay? I need to spend some time with Kol and you need to try and bond with your grandson if it's still there."

Klaus laughed a bit and nodded, pulling his phone from his pocket and texting Astrid.

"I need a barrier spell doing on the house when we get home so he can't come in."

"He won't accept me."

"I've convinced him to talk to you, that's one step in the direction of accepting you. Not being there to speak to him isn't going to help, is it? Come on.." She whispered, grabbing his wrist and leading him to the car. Not knowing she'd gotten a text as she'd left her phone at home.

"Okay, Tat." Klaus whispered.

Astrid got into the car and waited until he was in it too before driving towards her home. Getting out when they were there and heading inside, assuming he would follow.

Klaus nodded in response to that.

(( Congratulations haha xD Once I left an entire assigment until the day before :L Ended up spending six hours straight in college not moving from in front of the computer in the library. I've never been so productive in my life ))

Astrid walked into the livingroom, whispering quietly to her son, "Thanks for coming over Adam." before grabbing her mobile from the table and walking into the room Kol was in.

Adam just shrugged and watched his mother go before looking to his grandfather.

"What if she chooses him, Tat?"

"You look rough," Adam mused, "Knuckles all bloody an' all, you gotten into a fight?" he asked curiously, moving over on the sofa to make room for him.

Astrid flicked her phone open to read the text she'd gotten and widened her eyes, having to read it twice so she knew she had read it right, silently walking to Kol and showing him the text.

"That's mature." Adam mused sarcastically, "You uh, want to see photos of my kid? Your great granddaughter she'd be, I suppose. Bet that makes you feel old, hm?"

"Of course she's serious." Kol sighed, pulling out his phone and ringing his brother anyway.

Klaus just gave a small nod in response to that, answering his phone with a quiet, "What is it Kol? Is everything okay?"

"Must be an awful feeling." Adam mused before pulling his mobile out of his pocket and handing him his phone, "Most of 'em are photos of Zosia, Ollie and me... odd one of Adrian and Tamara when ever I visit them.."
