Inside the box was a made up, stuffed, rocking horse that was small enough for Rhea to sit on as long as someone was there to help her stay steady on it.

"Happy birthday, Rhea," Astrid whispered, "I thought it was cute, that you'd like it."

Sarai glanced into the box, musing, "Explains why the box is the size it is."

Jeremy nodded, "I like leaving it untouched, and it's Elena's too so it'd be complicated going into there."

Mica just yawned as she held her.

Mia slowly pulled away after a few moments.

Christian gently lifted rhea up onto the horse and held her there.

"I'm going to head home now, don't want to out stay my welcome. Mum is still being awful towards me and I can't put up with her attitude." Astrid whispered after a moment before heading out of the room and grabbing all of the baby's stuff, taking him from Klaus a moment later and heading out.

Sarai grimaced and watched Astrid go before gently making the horse rock for Rhea.

Klaus watched Astrid go before heading up the stairs and following Lucas into his room, "Hey Luc, you okay?"

Jeremy was silent too.

"No. That bitch in there has got all of you convinced she's mum and she's not because my mum died!" Lucas hissed as be paced his room.

Rhea giggled as she held on.

"Is there anywhere in town you could think of?"

The baby muffled in Astrids arms sleepily.

"No," Jeremy replied with a shake of his head, "We're going to have to look around, but that's part of the memory making. Searching for the house." he replied, shrugging.

Sarai smiled widely at her daughters giggle.

Astrid just walked home, entering hers and Kols home silently and dropping the back in the doorway. Sitting down in the arm chair once she got into the livingroom and whispering to the baby, "You've had it tough, hm, Mister?"

"She did, but she came back." Klaus replied gently with a sigh as he watched, "No one is forcing you to try and accept it now, Lucas, why is it bothering you? Everyone can believe what they like.."

"Because she has you all fooled! And she's not mum! She can't be!" Lucas trembled. "She died, my mum died as I saw her die and I saw her dead body and I watched it lowered into the ground and I sat by her gravestone and sobbed because my mum is dead and - " he cut off with a sob.

Rhea giggled and clapped her hands.

The baby gurgled, opening his eyes quietly.

"Let's just hope we can find one before baby gets here."

Klaus frowned deeply, resting his hand on Lucas' shoulder and pulling him closer so he could wrap his arms around him in a hug, "I know, Lucas, I know.. I know what you saw, I know how hard it was. She is back though, it was suppose to be impossible but it obviously wasn't. It is her, and as soon as you let her hug you, you'll know it to. You just have to give her a chance, give her a chance to prove you wrong and you'll stop hurting, I promise."

Astrid smiled gently, asking, "What would you like your name to be?"

"Having fun, baby?" Sarai asked with a quiet laugh.

"What if it hurts more and it's not her and we don't connect and in gotten my hopes up." Lucas sobbed.

"All I ask is for a chance Lucas... It's been over seven years and I just want to be able to hold my baby boy again. It's been so so long and all I want to do is hug you and tell you it's okay..." Tatia whispered from the doorway.

The baby wrapped his hand around her finger.

"I don't think it'll be anything easy to raise a baby with the chaos of my family under the same roof..."

Rhea giggled and nodded.

Klaus just smoothed his hair down soothingly, whispering, "If there is no connection, then I'll be here to help you pick up the pieces and not hurt as much. But there will be, I promise you, there will be."

"No, but it doesn't mean there is a rush if we don't find the right house in time."

Sarai smiled brightly before looking to Christian.

Astrid smiled as she watched him.

Lucas shook his head, tensing greatly when Tatia wrapped her arms around him. Staying like that for a few second before dissolving into sobs and hugging her back tightly.

"What do I say to her?"

The baby closed his eyes and yawned to snuggle into her.

Klaus lifted his hand to smooth Lucas' hair down gently, whispering, "See, it's her, Luc... It's your mother."

"That you love her, that you're glad you can meet her finally, that's she's perfect and beautiful and you promise you'll give her the world even if that means you have nothing. Happy birthday. Ask her questions, simple things, like if she likes certain colours and foods. It'll help you both bond with each other, and it increases her ability to talk aswell because she likes to imitate."

Astrid held him close.

Lucas said nothing, sobbing into his mothers hair. Tatia held him close, crying silently with joy and relief that he finally let her close again.

"What's the point in saying it when she doesn't understand?"

"What're you doing with a baby?" Kol frowned deeply as he came downstairs.
