Nevia was still in her home, laying in her bed late morning. Only just stirring from her sleep.

"You mumble nonsense in your sleep," Luci declared cheerfully, inches from her face. "Its funny."

Nevia jumped violently, burying her face into his shoulder and mumbling, "You scared me,"

"Good. It was what I was aiming for." Luci snicker ed quietly.

""Thank you for saving him, Luci," She mumbled sleepily. "Is he okay now?"

"Recuperating. He still might die."

Nevia froze at that, inhaling sharply as her whole body tensed.

"The seal was already partially dissolved. Which means he was already breaking down. I gave him a quick fix. He needs more time to heal proper."

"But he is healing…. So he'll be okay?"  She asked in a quiet whisper, hesitating before pressing her forehead into his shoulder with a yawn, pulling the covers over him too so it was easier to get comfortable again. "He said I was his…. It was nice. Kissed me, too, and held me, was really nice…. He can't die, too important to die, he means a lot to me."

"When it's time then it's time. If he dies then too bad, I lost a good one. But humans and life is unpredictable and I can't do anything against that."

"No, Luci," Nevia whispered, "He'll be an idiot, to call me his and say he is mine and then die. He's not allowed to die, if he is mine then he can't I won't let him.…" she added, before whispering shakily, "He can't die… I love him."

"We don't live in a fairytale. If he's going to die then he's going to die. Love him or not you can't change that."

"Comforting, Luci, comforting." She mumbled, rolling over on the bed to watch the wall.

"I do try my best," Luci declared sarcastically. "I'm not a sugary sweet person."

"Your far from stereotypical devil though," Nevia pointed out quietly, "Not red horn, burn everyone and everything with no remorse. Mean heck, if you were like that you would of killed me by now."

"This way I get to torture you for longer cause you're not going to die until our say so. I'm going to make your life a living hell."

"That's just people overreacting and trying to frighten people into faith. I'm a fallen angel. A sexy one if I do say so myself. And I burn people. Only when I'm bored and when they've pissed me off."

"Exactly my point, you aren't stereotypical." Nevia replied with a shrug, rolling over to face him once again.

"I still like to fuck people over though. It's too much fun to scare them and make them panic." Luci stretched luxuriously and yawned. "You need a bigger, softer bed."

"Mm, planning on looking at some new ones in the next few days actually. King size." Nevia replied with a quiet laugh, "You tired or something, Luci?" ))

"I don't sleep. I just want to relax though anyway."

"Mm, and you came here to do it?"

"I like to rest in the calmest place before shit hits the fan."

"What makes you think something will happen?"
