Will You Keep The Secret

Aleshia laughed a little bit, kissing down his neck

He tilted his head for her ignoring Gabriel who was basically yelling at him through the door.

She rolled her eyes at the yelling, grabbing Nate's shirt and shoving it on before getting to her feet and walking to open the door. Glaring at Gabe.

Nate grumbled under his breath a few string words in the form of many cusses as he sat up on the bed glaring at his cousin. 

Gabe stopped shouting mid sentence his gaze landing on Aleshia before moving behind her to Nate.

"Don't you know how to kill a mood?!" She snapped, muttering; "He'll be down in a minute," before slamming the door closed.

Gabriel rolled his eyes muttering something before returning downstairs.

"He's a pain in the ass!"

"How did that go?" Nerida asked quietly when she saw Gabriel come back down.

"Mm," She hummed with a deep sigh, pulling her under wear and jeans back on, though keeping his shirt; "Come on, lets see what he wants."

"Damn little punk didn't even come to the door his girlfriend did!" He snapped angrily.

"I know what he wants and I don't care to hear it" he complained grabbing a shirt from his closet which he slipped on but left unbuttoned.

"Oh she's here? The reason this is all so complicated now?"

"Come on you," Aleshia sighed, wandering out of the room and down the stairs, trying to make her hair look less dishevelled as she entered the living room.

"Mm...appears I've 'killed' the mood" he commented frowning deeply as he sat down beside her.

He followed behind her slumping down into an arm chair and pulling her onto his lap.

"You did kill the mood," Aleshia snapped, "We were.... busy."

Nerida grimaced a bit; "You look a bit too young to be doing that sort of thing."

"Who the hell are you?"

"What we do isn't any of your business!" Nate snapped right away tightening his arms around Aleshias waist grumbling after. "The reason he wants to leave again...the reason we always have to leave."


"Nate watch it. I'm getting rather sick of your tone today."

Nerida just slid her arms around Gabriel, snapping at Nate; "Maybe you should be a little more grateful for everything he does for you, instead of acting like he's a burden. Remember which one of you is dead because of their own stupidity!"

"Leave him alone, you!"

"I didn't ask to be brought back! He should've left me dead if all he was gonna do is control me now!" He snapped back glaring at her.

"His death isn't part of this. Why we have to leave is, can we get on track here please?"

Nerida bit her tongue then, just letting Gabriel speak as she glared at Nate.

Nate glared right back at her barely even hearing what Gabe said.

"It's not safe here anymore for Nerida. If we stay they'll find her and I'm not letting that happen..."

"Who'll find her?" Aleshia asked with a roll of her eyes

"In simply terms. Hunters, scientists. Whatever you want to call them they're of no good to her or to you either Nate."

He rolled his eyes laying his head back and staring blankly up at the ceiling.

"That doesn't mean we have to move, Nate doesn't want to move; He wants to stay with me, he's going to stay with me. He's mine!" Aleshia snapped.

"Well don't you sound like a controlling sociopathic bitch." Nerida snorted.

"She's right though. For once I don't want to go... She needs me here with her..." He replied tugging her close to hold her.

Gabe let out a deep sigh. "Nate you know staying isn't that easy...the danger we're all in if we stay. If she wants to come with us that's fine but we aren't staying."

"I can't come," She muttered quietly, "I've already thought about it and I can't. I have family here."

"Go home to mummy and daddy then. You'll probably forget about him by next week." Nerida snorted.

"Will you shut the hell up! Why does he have to go wherever you go anyways?!" He shouted in frustration his grip around Alesha's waist tightening.

Gabe sighed.

Aleshia twisted around on Nate's lap so she could rest her fingertips beneath his chin and make him look up at her. "Breathe.... Breath, you, breath."

Nerida just glared silently.

Nate seemed to stare past her at Nerida where his angry lay. Though her words sunk in after a moment and he blinked looking at her instead. 

"Look there's not much more I can tell either of you besides we're going." Gabriel finally told them taking hold of  Nerida's hand.

Aleshia smiled softly when sheet his gaze, though it went at what Gabriel said, just getting to her feet and walking out of the house.
