<3 Married At First Sight </3

"You rescued him?" Genvieve asked with a raise of an eyebrow, smiling widely at the bird and whispering, "Wow... He's beautiful. I always wanted a bigger bird, I like hawks and owls. I wanted an owl, I was only aloud Polly though."

((Haha! That's alright. Wanna continue or start new on decision day for Hadleigh and Byron?))

Hadleigh was sitting in the living room waiting for Byron so they could go to the meeting for their marriage.


Jayson had just finished packing a few things up. "You almost ready Cal?"

Byron wandered down into the room, extremely pale with dark circles under his eyes as if he hadn't slept. His eyes only half open with his exhaustion and, oddly, he seemed to have dried tear stains on his cheeks.

"Yeah,"

Hady got to her feet as he entered the room. "Are you alright?" She asked softly taking in his appearance.


"I guess we're ready to go then?" He asked glancing around at the house. "Is it really different where you live?"

"Lets get this fucking shit over with, I'm not in the mood today." Byron grumbled hoarsely.

"It's amazing where I live."

She frowned slightly at his tone and wording but turned and grabbed her jacket heading out of the house to the car without another word and just getting in.


"What's it like?"

Byron got in a few minutes later

Folding her hands in her lap she stayed in silence the entire car ride not wanting to make him angrier.

He closed his eyes and leant against the car door silently.

Sighing softly she stared out the window not moving until they got to where they had to be and then she got out.

He got out too, just wandering into the building.

Silently she followed along behind him twisting the hem of her shirt in her fingers nervously.

He entered the room and sat down in silence.

Hadleigh sat down on the other end of the couch keeping quiet. So when they all began talking and it came down to them saying if they were remaining married or not she lowered her gaze to her lap and refused to speak.

Byron grimaced, mumbling, "I don't think the amount of time we've had has been long enough to really get each other. I wouldn't be able to give a valid answer."

Hadleighs head snapped up and she looked at him. "What do you want to do then?"

"Curl up into a ball in the corner of the room and sleep all day."

"Byron...we have to make a decision you know that..."

"You make it."

"Me? But I- you said... I can't..." She muttered shaking her head.

((Stay together or split up?))

(( I don't mind haha, I think they'd be sweet eventually - they just need to open up to each other. ))

Byron remained silent, not saying a word.

((Yeah their cute. And it'd be nice to see love bloom for them))


"I want to try...I know you're closed off and you like being alone but I can handle that. Do you wanna keep trying?"

"I don't care..." He replied with a small shrug. "It's up to you."
