Klaus shook his head in the negative, "If she had post natal depression she would of been like this straight away." he replied, "Take Edan, Luc, he isn't rejecting you."

Malvolio didn't say a word in response to that, just resting his head on top of hers as he refused to answer.

She glanced up at him when he didn't answer but didn't ask again simply mumbling a quiet 'sorry'.

"You have nothing to apologise for, Princess, nothing at all."

Wiping away a few more tears that had made their way down her cheeks she smiled sadly.

"No, he's settled with you. I'll go wash and sterilize his bottles, make some up for him... go pick up his prescription for colic."

"Lucas, take your son, my arm needs a break."

Malvolio just let out a small sigh, shaking his head and pulling her into a hug once again.

"And if he wakes up and screams?! What then?!"

This time she hugged him back tightly.

"Rub his belly until he falls asleep once again." Klaus replied, offering Edan to him quietly. "He needs you, Luc. Especially if you feel Noamh doesn't care, it means you have to be there more for him."

Malvolio sighed softly as he held her.

"I'm always there for him, always and he just won't stop crying. I rub his belly and I sing and I try and soothe him and it just never works dad... I'm failing."

"Your not failing, take him Luc,"

Saffron let out a soft sigh as she dropped her hands into her lap sitting back. "Thanks dad, for always being there for me even if I haven't been around as much as I should be."

"I should get his medicine and clean his bottles."

"I'll do it. Hold your son." Klaus snapped.

Malvolio didn't say a word, just shrugging a little bit and glancing around quietly. Mumbling, "I should go. I need to sort some things out..."

She nodded. "Yeah okay, I'll call you tomorrow then yeah?"

"No. I can't." :x

Klaus just forced Edan into his sons arms before leaving the room.

Edan whined quietly at the movement, blinking his eyes open and snuggling into his fathers chest.

Malvolio nodded, kissing the top of his daughters head before getting to his feet and leaving.

"No, no don't cry, please no more crying." Lucas whined as he rubbed his back. "Please Edan... no more."

Edan just whimpered a little louder at his fathers whine. Settling after about a minute of his father rubbing his back, looking up at his face quietly.

Lucas just sighed deeply and sat down.

Edan cooed quietly, reaching his hand up to his father.

Lucas took his hand and kissed his fingertips.

Edan smiled.

"I'm sorry me and your mum aren't good enough for you kiddo... I'm sorry."

Edan just snuggled into him as he made quiet cooing noises.

"Don't leave me..." Noamh pleaded quietly as she wandered into the room, putting chocolates and a can of beer beside him before sitting at Lucas' side and curling into him. Repeating, a little desperately, "Don't leave me..."
