"I am speaking on his behalf m'lady. I apologise."

Rhaenys just wiped her eyes shakily.

The hand lingered for a few moments before heading inside once again to tell Vladomir.

Rhaenys waited until he'd gone before beginning to cry again.

"Has Lucian spoken to you?" Lilliana asked shyly as she entered the main room and saw Lucian's father there. "I assume he has, but, if he has not I suppose I should inform you before I inform my own father."

Vladomir was just sat quietly in his home.

"He has, and whilst I'm delighted he has chosen to marry you I am still rather annoyed with the stunt he pulled for his own sisters wedding."

"He is sad to see her leave," She explained quietly, "He is disgusted to see her marry a man just because of what the man has perhaps forced her to do, he will miss her. She did not have to stop the ceremony on account of him, please do not be harsh on him, Lord Dayne."

"She was forced into nothing." He shook his head. "She refuses to leave her room now and Lucian runs away at dawn and comes back at dusk to avoid me."

"He fears your rage," Lilliana explained gently in response to that, "And she is merely upset. You can not blame him for his fear, a fathers anger is a terrifying thought."

"He should not have angered me."

"He didn't mean to, he just wanted his sister to marry a man he knew she was safe with, who is safe financially." She explained gently, "Please do not be harsh on him. He fears your anger."

"Then he should not have made me angry! Rhaenys may be with child and I cannot convince her to say 'I do' unless he brother is there, and god knows if Vladomir will consent to another wedding when we were all so humiliated!"

"Rhaenys had the option of marrying without him there, it isn't Lucian fault she did not agree to that. Please do not hold him fully accountably."

"Lucian and I are the only living family she has. He knew she would not marry without him there."

"But that is not his fault,"

"It is."

"No! No it isn't! You criticise him so much for having genuine feelings, emotions and fears and care. Just leave him alone, please, just let him be and make his own decisions. We're to be wed soon, he is marrying me, hasn't he made you proud enough by that?"

"Watch how you speak to me." He warned before walking away.

"Is that suppose to be a threat, Mr. Dayne? You know it wouldn't be wise to threaten me."

"It was a reminder."

"And what would you do if I ever ignored such a reminder?"

"I'm sure your husband to be wil decide that." Mr Dayne said before walking away from her.
