Falin just exhaled shakily, mumbling, "I don't want to lose her like you've lost your children. She's the only reason I got through anything with her father, I'd be a broken mess without her. I can't lose her."

Curtis laughed tiredly and shook his head, "It's nothing like goats cheese."

"Mm," Leon grumbled quietly in response to that. Unsure what to say.

"I feel guilty! Knowing that our child if it survives is coming home to all of this!"

"You're over thinking this. All she wants is space. I guarantee it."

"And? The only one who needs arranged visits is Matthew and you don't have to be around for that."

Curtis made a small noise of surprise, closing his eyes and kissing him back. Moving his hand up to knot his fingers in his hair, pulling him closer against him.

"To what?! Me and you; who love him or her, yeah, poor baby! All that matter is that it survives!"

Leon just let out a deep sigh and shook his head; "No, she'll end up popping up because she enjoys harrassing me. Enjoys hurting me, I'm sure of it."

"Did she tell you that?"

Curtis made a small happy noise against his lips, tilting his head to the side to kiss down his neck. Face vamping out in content.

"Yes you can, but you have to love it in order to do that and honestly I don't quite think you do!"

"No, no I really don't think I can. You don't quite understand what she's like; how persistent she can be." Leon replied with a shake of his head.

"You ran off at one point too? Why? Where did you go? How old were you?"

"This is the kind of emotion I was talking about." Nikolai hummed as he traced his fingers across the veins.

"Stop talking about it like it's a parasite living inside of you then!" Nate hissed, a wounded expression appearing in his eyes as he stumbled backwards. "Don't be violent with me... Don't."

"Mm, so I understand now." Curtis hummed in response to that, arching his body towards his touch.

"How long were you gone for?" Falin asked with a small frown. "Fourteen is young."

"No, no that isn't fair on all of the kids."

"Stop yelling at me! That's all everyone's done since I came back! Everyone's just yelled at me and I can't take it anymore!" Vanessa sobbed, hitting him again before just resting her hands on his chest and her forehead on top of them as she cried

Nikolai grinned, moving to kiss down his neck and collarbone.

"Three weeks before Mikael dragged me back kicking and screaming and gave me the beating of a lifetime.. Ah it wasn't that young. Tatia was a mother at fourteen remember? Married and the lot."

"Make a selfish choice for once in your life Leon..."

"To me it's young," Falin replied with a shake of her head, lifting her hand up to rest it on his cheek gently. "I don't understand how anyone can hit a child, I really don't. What an evil man... How did you survive for three weeks in a forest all alone? That must of been terrifying."

"I'm not a selfish person, I've tried to be and I ended up having my son sobbing in my shoulder and begging me to give her another chance. I can't have them crying, begging me, like that again."

Nate flinched as he was hit, just letting out a deep sigh and mumbling; "You aren't listening though, people have to yell because you don't listen; you put words in my mouth."

He turned his head to the side to give him more room

Falin just nodded subtly, resting her head against his shoulder with a small sigh. "I can't lose her Kol.... I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost her, I really don't."

Nate was silent then, just holding her close. Resting his head against hers and closing his eyes quietly.

Curtis kissed him back deeply.

"We'll see..." Leon replied with a small sigh, "Can we stop talking about this now?"

"Stay here then, but you aren't getting out of making me those pancakes now. As soon as we're done here." He hummed, pressing his lips to her neck.

"No, I love your cooking."
