"I'll bring you to your grandmothers," She repeated, glancing around and grabbing her car keys.

Farrah was stood at the bottom end of the garden whilst she thought her parents were in work; having forgotten of the times certain shifts ended earlier on certain days. Quietly she moved a lighter up from her pocket and lit a cigarette with a shaky hand, still barely speaking to anyone despite the time that had passed.

"Hey!" Henriik called cheerily as he wandered through Dakota's front door with Ellie, having finally arrived home from the tour. "Anyone home? We have lots and lots of stories to share."

Dakota was asleep on the couch, an empty bottle of wine on the floor.

"Put it out, Farrah." Adrian sighed as he walked towards her, reaching out his hand for the packet.

Farrah jumped when she caught the movement out of the corner of her eye, flinching away from his hand and shaking her head in the negative. Taking a puff of the cigarette and blowing the smoke into his face with narrowed eyes.

Alexander watched from the back doorway, calling, "Smoke is gross!"

Henrik sighed, putting his guitar case down to the side and walking over, crouching down beside the sofa and resting his hand on her shoulder to try and shake her awake. "Dakota."

"You know nicotine affects brain cells, kills them off and stops you forming new ones. Probably explains why your grades are so shit. It's also been described as an anti-social habit, which probably explains why all your friends have stopped calling. It's also ridiculously expensive which probably explains why the exact amount for a packet goes missing out of my wallet around every two days. Put it out. Pass me the packet, and get inside. Now. I'm done playing this game with you."

"Go away." Dakota slurred.

"No, go away. It makes me feel better." Farrah whispered, shaking her head in the negative. "Your supposed to be in work anyway, aren't you? Why did you leave early?"

"Don't be so immature."

"Because I got a call about you skipping class."

---

"Leave. It's what you do best. I'm fine here." Dakota mumbled, rolling over. "Go party with one of your groupies, take your shit with you."

"You saw the news," Henrik grimaced, "I don't have groupies, I just felt sorry for them. They'd travelled across states and they wanted to have a few drinks with me, I was trying to be a good person."

Farrah shrugged, turning her head to the side and continuing to smoke, glancing up to the sky."You can't stop me from doing anything."

"I can't tell if it makes you just plain stupid, or a complete fucking moron to think I'd be yours when you got back. Piss of Henrik. I want nothing to do with you. Go with the blonde one, it seemed like you wanted everthing to do with her."

"I'm your father. Yes I can."

Farrah shook her head, getting the end of the cigarette and leaning over to dig it into his arm when it was still lit. "Stop telling me what to do! Go back to work! Your always there anyway!"

"You know what the media are like, you used to be my manager! Believe me over them, yeah?"

"You forget I told you we were done if you went. You went anyway. You hooking up with other women just solidifies the fact we're not together anymore."

Adrian hissed in pain before backing off. "I can't deal with you anymore. You're a nightmare. I try and try with you and it's never enough." he muttered before walking back into the house.

"I never hooked up with anyone! And you shouldn't be trying to keep me from the life I was meant to lead anyway! It isn't my fault if you can't cope with the fact that I have a talent that has to be shared!"

"Go back to work... You're always there anyway." She repeated sadly.

"Well we're done. I told you that before you left. Don't know why you thought you'd come back and I'd have magically changed my mind after no contact for near enough six months. I'm done. Have fun."

Adrian just closed the door behind him.

Alexander reached up to grab his fathers wrist quietly when he came back into the house, "Can you come colour with me?"

"I thought you might of come to your senses."

"No Alex, need to call your mother."

"You left, haven't heard a thing from you for six months, all I've seen is you all over women at parties. No thank you." Dakota muttered, rolling over and pulling the throw over her, closing her eyes.

"Please.." Alex whined. "After you phone her come and colour with me?"

"You've seen the media's interpretation."

"After I've phoned her."

"irregardless, I said we were over before you left. Just leave me to sleep please."

Alex nodded, wandering up the stairs and to his room.

"No, you look a mess.."

(( Sorry, my housemate got back from her date and brought the guy back with her so I'm embarrassing her haha ))

Dakota just sighed deeply, pointedly ignoring him then.

Adrian called Tamara.

"Hi," Tamarra greeted, "It's not like you to phone."

"Come back and deal with our daughter because I physically can't deal with her anymore."
