"Nate! I mean- I'm sorry, we haven't discussed what you want me to call you now." Aleshia whispered as she walked over to him.

Nate looked up at her when he heard her call him or well the him she remembered. "It's fine. You can call me what you want."

Looking around Gabe ran a hand through his hair as he looked towards Nerida. "I have no idea where I'm supposed to start."

Aleshia sat herself down beside him with a small sigh, reaching her hand over in quiet offering. "No, no I need to know what you're more comfortable with."

"Anywhere," Nerida whispered, bouncing her daughter up and down gently as she dozed against her shoulder. "Um, the house maybe? If it's even still standing.... There's hardly anyone about."

"Either. The memories are there for both or us or uh me I guess. I'm not even sure it's confusing still."

"The house sounds good," he agreed smiling at her. "Want me to take her?"

"Mm, please, my arms going dead. She's well too old to be carried now." Nerida replied with a quiet laugh, passing Gabriella over to him gently. "She's really started to come out of her shell around you."

"You should just let me walk away from you, keep living this life, like you ere obviously suppose to."

Gabriel chuckled lowly gladly taking her from Nerida. "I'm kinda surprised myself."

"I can't do that. Nate won't let me just let you go...and well I want you to stay," he muttered rubbing his neck as he looked over at her. "Stay?"

"Really? Why is that?"

"I just... don't want to hold you back from happiness."

"Well for starters she hid behind you the day I met her," he laughed heading for what used to be their home years earlier.

Mason (first name I thought of xD) sighed deeply. "What makes you think I was happy to begin with?"

"It's the impression I got.... Weren't you? Aren't you?"

"Yeah," Nerida hummed, "But you were a stranger to her then, it's different."

"True." He agreed. "It's nice though. Makes things easier that she's okay with me being around."

"Well yeah I guess but I'm happy with you around too."

"But you won't be if stick around, I know you won't. I'm dead, only you can see me. That'll be so inconvenient for you, it'll make you unhappy. I just want you happy...."

Nerida nodded in agreement.

"But you're not listening to me! I said I'm happy and you're not listening, you still wanna leave!"

Gabriel took hold of her hand. "Do you think it'll still be here Ner?"

"Because that might change eventually!" She whined, "I don't want to feel like I have you back again and then have to let you go! So you need to decide now because I can't do it any other way."

"Then stay! I told you I want you to stay..." It began off as a yell but quickly turned into a quiet whine just like she had making him shudder and pull his legs to his chest hugging them.

"I guess we'll find out soon enough, huh?"

Alisha frowned deeply at his whine, sliding her arms around him and pulling him into a tight hug. Resting her head on top of his gently, "Sshh,"

Nerida nodded.

Mason wrapped his arms around her tightly continually mumbling, "Don't go, dont go, don't go please don't go."

Surprisingly the house was there but no one seemed to be home though he waliked to the door and nodded.

"Nate...." She breathed, lowering her head to kiss the top of his gently. "It's okay, it's okay. Sshh. I'll stay, fine, if you're sure, I'll stay."

"Wow, it's still standing."

He pressed his face into her neck tightening his arms around her. "Can't lose you...won't. Won't let you.."

"Yeah. I wasn't sure it would be. Doesn't look like anyone's here though."

"Let's check inside, just in case." Nerida whispered quietly, heading inside ahead of him and beginning to search around.

Gabe followed closely behind her still carrying Gabriella. "Be careful."

He quieted down slowly looking at her.

"I told you what you needed to hear." He started walking towards his home.

"Be careful of what, I'll be fine, silly." Nerida whispered, looking around when she went inside; looking for a sign that someone had been around recently.
