Us and Them

"I love you too."

She smiled moving away from him so he could finish dressing.

He watched her, before he continued to dress.

She curled up on the bed.

He watched her.

She reached for him.

He moved wuthin her reach.

She tugged his hand so he'd lay with her.

He lay beside her.

She curled up beneath the blankets beside him.

He kissed the top of her head.

She rested her head on his shoulder closing her eyes.

He held her gently.

Within minutes Jaylin was asleep.

He watched her sleep for a few minutes.

She slept peacefully against him.

He stayed asleep until the morning.

Throughout the night she had moved closer to him.

He kept her close.

She woke once and smiled seeing him asleep only to fall back asleep moments later herself.

He woke up early the next morning to the sound of wolves outside the house and he got up throwing on some jeans and a tshirt.

His movementshoulder woke her and she blinked her eyes open with a yawn. "What's the matter?"

"Stay in bed sweetheart."

"Hunt, what's happened?"

"Just some young wolves looking for a fight, easy fix." He told her kissing. Her lips gently. "Go back to sleep."
