Creatures of the Dark

He was quiet most of the time.

She kept quiet letting him enjoy the film before the door slammed and made her jump as Ben walked in. "Alice what the hell is going on?" He asked.

"What do you mean?" She asked getting to her feet and she followed him outside to where there were bodies lined up in the street in the same position as Christ on the cross.

Frankie blinked a few times looking up at Ben. With a deep sigh he got to his feet and followed her outside.

Alice was just staring st the people. "Did you do this?" She asked Ben who shook his head and handed her three feathers obviously from Mathew.

He clenched his jaw. "Damn him."

Alice looked at the people before she looked at Ben and Frankie and then she looked at the the bodies again.

"Alright enough of this. We have to do something. Now."

Ben shook Alice as he saw that she had stopped movin and breathing. "What do you suggest?" He asked as Alice stood there shaking.

"My suggestion probably isn't the best," he answered gently pulling Alice into his arms holding her.

"Tell us anyway, because I might help you." Ben told him watching Alice rest her head on his chest.

Frankie ran a gentle hand through her hair but his eyes were on Ben. "It's not something Angel's do even fallen ones.

"Well then I'll fucking do it for you."

Frankie looked at Alice. "Alice?"

She looked up at him. "Yeah?"

"What do you want to do about this?"

"I don't know." She whispered.

He sighed hugging her tighter.

She hugged him just as tightly.

He smoothed a hand over her head.

She smiled weakly, just holding his shirt.

Ben watched them.

"We'll figure something out..."

She nodded.

He tipped her head up with a finger under her chin and pressed a soft kiss to her lips before hugging her tightly again.

She kissed him back before she hugged him tightly.

Frankie held her tight his eyes shifting to look at Ben knowing he probably had questions.
