She smiled softly. "Do you think I'll ever see him again?" She asked, despite Alice telling Ethan that Hayden's brother was often violent towards her, she still thought that he cared about her, since he was the only family that she had.

He let her go into the room first.

"Someday when you're ready we'll go see him...together," he wouldn't let her go alone.

She slowly walked into his room.

He followed her soon after.

Hayden nodded, smiling weakly.

Rylee stood off to the side quietly.

He smiled warmly at her.

She rested her head against him.

Max looked at her.

He held her close to him.

She looked back at him.

"So what would you like to do?"

Hayden stayed as close as he wanted.

Ethan brushed his fingers through her hair.

She shrugged. "I don't really mind..."

She smiled at the feeling.

Max shrugged. "Me neither."

He was comfortable laying with her.

She looked around the room.

"Unfortunately I've not got a lot of things to do in here."

Hayden was comfortable lying with him.

"What would you like to do today?"

"That's okay...I don't do much anyhow..."

"I'm not sure." Hayden told him. "Could we go for a walk?"

"Fair enough."

"We sure can if that's what you'd like to do."

Rylee perched herself on the edge of his bed. "I... Max? Can we.. can I talk to you about something?"

"Of course." He told her sitting on the edge of the bed leaving a gap between them in order to keep her comfortable.

Hayden smiled softly. "Not just yet though, this is comfortable." She told him settling more into his embrace.

He nodded perfectly content in laying there with her.

"I... are you lonely too? Sometimes I mean..."

He nodded. "Sometimes." He told her. "After all, I am the only zombie here, I've got no one I can really talk to about what happens with me." He shrugged. "Why do you ask?"

She smiled as they lay there.

"I can tell... it shows. I...I don't mean to but I know when you are and- " Rylee looked at the ground. "You weren't sleeping earlier...were you?"

He shook his head. "I don't really sleep."

"I know...but you were lonely?"

He nodded. "As were you?"

She nodded. "Yes...and afraid..." she admitted softly.

"What are you afraid of?"

"Everything...being alone...letting anyone get to know me again..."

"Well, I know you." He pointed out. "You don't seem that scared of me." He told her trying to make her smile. "But you don't have to worry, all of us here were in your position, heck I think that Hayden still is in your position."
